After completing all these in the side quest, your town will reach level six. When you hit town level six, you need to build a museum.
Follow the story further to finish building the museum. After that, a character named Adrian the Promoter will come to town. Talk to him to start the monster arena questline.
You’ll need the following items to build the arena:
- 30 units of Quality Metal
- 20 units of Quality Stone
- 1 Monster Trap
Quality Metal can be found in West Theatropolis Plains, while Quality Stone is in Flamesgrace Wilds. Fighting monsters and then leaving and coming back will cause the materials to respawn in the area.
The Monster Trap is a bit more difficult. Head to Flamesgrace and ask the Ambitious Hunter at the inn (located to the left of the bar) for it. Use your inquiry action and ask him for the trap. Be aware, there’s only a 3% chance he’ll give it to you. To increase your chances, save your game outside the inn and keep trying; reloading your save each time it doesn’t work. Persist until you succeed. Once you have the trap, head back to Wishvale and construct the arena.
How to Use the Monster Arena
After unlocking the arena, you’ll want to start capturing monsters yourself. Talk to Adrian the Promoter inside the arena, who will give you a list of monsters to find and tell you where to find them.
You’ll need to travel to each location and find monsters that resemble strong enemies in the overworld. Capture them and add them to your arena. This part involves moving around and engaging in battles to catch the monsters you need.
