Every time you finish an operation, the Black Market’s stock updates. It stays the same during missions but refreshes after each full operation, giving you time to gather more items for trade. The available items aren’t always stable either—mech walkers are rare, while smaller vehicles are easier to find. Prices tend to be high, so you’ll have to offer a lot for little in return. It’s best to buy only what you need instead of stocking up on everything.

For squad members, you can acquire more passively through the Woo component on the Impetus after completing missions. In that case, you’ll need to hire more from the Black Market, but this is costly, and you only get five additional Squaddies at a time.
