The biggest fun part of a Battle Royale game is starting over every time you play, and Fate Trigger does a good job of that too. In this game, you play as anime characters, each with special skills. The only things you can use that aren’t part of the characters are items you find on the map.
Right now, Fate Trigger isn’t available to everyone, but you can try to join its beta by applying on the store page or by earning Twitch drops. Here’s what you need to know about both options.
How to Get Access Through Steam
You can get into the beta directly through Steam. Visit the game’s Steam page and search for Fate Trigger, or click on this link: Steam Fate Trigger. On the page, scroll down to the part where you usually buy the game, and you’ll see an option to apply for the playtest. Click on it, and you’ll get an email or a Steam notification when the developers are ready to accept more players.
How to Get Access Through Twitch Drops
While the Steam method works, it can be slow. There’s a faster way: Twitch Drops. To do this, visit the Fate Trigger CBT Drops page at Fate Trigger Twitch Drops. Scroll down to connect your Twitch account with your Saroasis Pass account. If you don’t have a Saroasis Pass account yet, you can create one easily with your email.
After linking your accounts, go to the Fate Trigger Directory on Twitch and find a stream with the “Drops enabled” tag or look for “drops” in the stream’s title. When you join a drop-enabled stream, a menu will appear above the chat, confirming that drops are active. Watch any of these streams for an hour, and you can claim your key from your profile’s Drops Inventory at the top right corner. You can even leave the stream running at low volume if you prefer not to watch actively. The first round of beta keys will end on August 18, 2025, but more rounds may come later since the beta will last for some time.
