Games tend to fall into two types when it comes to earning achievements or trophies: those where you can unlock everything in a single playthrough, and those that require multiple playthroughs or repeating parts of the game to unlock all achievements.
Dispatch is an example of the latter. Some achievements are tied to choices you make, meaning you need to replay parts of the game and select different options to unlock them. Most achievements are related to performance rather than decisions, so there aren’t many that require multiple runs.
Achievements and Trophies in Episodes 1 and 2
These achievements are only available in the first two episodes, though many can be earned after completing episode two.
Achievement | How to Unlock |
---|---|
“Love ’em from my mouth to my butt.” | Choose the least popular donut, which is the long, creme-filled one. |
“You gonna eat those twinks?” | During the breakroom cutscene, be betrayed by Invisigal. Select the dialogue option “The suit isn’t Mecha Man” when it appears. |
Nailed It | Successfully complete a dispatch with one hero, choosing the right hero for the situation. It’s straightforward—just pick the hero and circumstances carefully. |
“Did I drool on you?” | Earn this naturally by being hired at SDN during the story. |
Burning Chrome | Complete a hacking level with at least one-third of the timer remaining. Finish the level before the timer hits one-third, and wait for the right moment. Early hacking levels are easier, so aim for those. |
Time’s Running Out | Complete a hacking level with only five seconds left. The same rules apply as Burning Chrome, but later levels may be more challenging or may happen naturally as you play. |
Shift Was Lit | Achieve a perfect shift, meaning no failed or missed calls. This can be tricky early on, especially with untrained heroes, but using as few heroes as possible and keeping others ready helps. |
Snake Eyes | When you fail a call you had at least a 70% success chance on, this achievement unlocks. Failing at the right moment is mostly luck. |
Overkill | Cover the entire graph in one call by sending many heroes with varied stats—a clumsy but effective way to unlock this achievement. |
Fool’s Luck | When a call comes through and none of your heroes are a perfect fit, sending any hero is better than nothing. If they succeed with a 15% or lower chance, this achievement is earned. |
