In Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, the game primarily focuses on farming but centers around a weekly market called the bazaar. This event takes place every Saturday and starts with just a few stalls. As you advance in the game and complete certain requests, more stalls and items become available for purchase.
One special stall is the Happy Shoppe. Unlike most stalls that accept gold, the Happy Shoppe doesn’t take money. Instead, you earn Happy Energy through your activities during the week and spend it here.
### How to Unlock the Happy Shoppe
Most stalls unlock after reaching specific bazaar ranks once their requests are completed. However, the Happy Shoppe is an exception; it becomes available as part of the story progression. After upgrading your bazaar the first time, the Nature Sprites will visit you for the first time around Spring 13. Once you’ve seen this scene, they’ll appear again at your next bazaar, introducing you to the Happy Shoppe. You can find this stall at the top left of the bazaar map, by going left from the mayor’s stall and following the slope upward.
### Everything You Can Buy in the Happy Shoppe
Much like other bazaaar stalls, the Happy Shoppe offers items that only unlock after reaching certain ranks. You can buy seeds, which change seasonally, and other items depending on your progress:

Among these, the Sprite Box, Happy Box, and Power Berries are particularly important:
– Sprite Boxes allow you to access your storage from specific locations.
– Upgrading a Sprite Box to a Happy Box enables instant teleportation back home from that spot.
– Power Berries permanently increase your maximum stamina.
### Seeds Available by Season
Seeds also unlock depending on the season:
– Spring, Summer, Autumn: Rice, Soybean, Wheat, Tea, Turnip, Strawberry
– Summer: Watermelon, Red Bell Pepper
– Autumn: Cauliflower, Sweet Potato
– Winter: Napa Cabbage, Burdock
Each seed costs 1,000 Happy Energy during its season.
### How to Get Happy Energy
The main way to farm Happy Energy is simply by playing normally. Activities like farming, foraging, fishing, and processing in the windmill have a chance to earn Happy Energy. The more you do, the more energy you gather.
You can also earn Happy Energy by gifting specific items to Nature Sprites. leveling them up grants you energy, and every four levels, the quality of the items you give increases.
Finally, participating in Bazaar’s Cheer Time—selling items during this event—also rewards you with Happy Energy. The more items you sell during Cheer Time, the more energy you gain.
