Ten new minions were added in Final Fantasy 14’s Patch 7.3, with nine currently obtainable. We’ll explain how to get each of these minions below. Everyone’s favorite from the new batch seems to be Mini Yan.

Every Patch 7.3 Minion and How to Get It
Minion | How to Obtain |

Boon Baboon | The method is currently unknown, but it’s likely to come from a Retainer venture. Updates will follow once more information is available. |
Falcon-Blue Gobtank | Rewards from PvP Series 9, specifically the 15th reward. |
Gimme Kitten | Possible drop from the Vault Oneiron Treasure Dungeon, added in Patch 7.3. You need to decipher a Gargantuaskin Treasure Map, defeat enemies, and then open a treasure chest. There’s a chance a portal appears, which you can progress through to earn the minion. Alternatively, it can be bought on the Market Board. |
Micro Crow | Might be a reward from The Meso Terminal Dungeon, also added in Patch 7.3. It’s available for purchase on the Market Board as well. |
Mini Yan | Likely obtainable from the Vault Oneiron Treasure Dungeon, similar to Gimme Kitten and others. Use a Gargantuaskin Treasure Map and fight through waves of monsters. Purchasing on the Market Board is also an option. |
Raven-Red Gobtank | This minion comes as the 16th reward from PvP Series 9. |
Rroneek Calf | Can be bought from the Faux Commander in Idyllshire for 400 Faux Leaves earned from Faux Hollows. Market purchase is also possible. |
Sunray Ray | Gathered by Fishers. Details on the exact location are still to be confirmed. Market purchase is available. |
Wind-up Eald’narche | A potential reward from the San D’Oria: The Second Walk Alliance Raid. |
Wind-up Gulool Ja Ja | Added in Patch 7.3 and data-mined, but not yet available. It’s expected to be the reward for the upcoming The Rising seasonal event. |
