While playing Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll frequently encounter new side objectives, known as wishes. These wishes are added to your objective list and often include helpful hints to guide you through completing them. Some wishes are more significant than others in terms of gameplay impact.
The Wandering Merchant wish is particularly important because it not only rewards you but also unlocks a new trader in Songclave called Jubilana. She will offer some high-level items for sale once unlocked.
To start the Wandering Merchant wish and unlock Jubilana, you first need to access the Songclave area. This requires defeating the Last Judge to gain entry to the Citadel in Act Two. However, before reaching the main part of the Choral Chambers, you’ll have to travel through the Underworks.
Once you arrive at the Choral Chambers, go to the far right side and climb upwards to find an open space at the top. There, you’ll see an entrance to the First Shrine. Use your Silk Skills to clear away the silk blocking the entrance and open the shrine, which will turn into the Songclave. Afterward, take the wish from the wishboard outside.
To find Jubilana, head to the bottom parts of the Choral Chambers. Begin at the Choral Chambers bellway located on the bottom right side. Exit to the vertical area on the left, then climb upward. Skip the first exit on your left and take the next one as you go up. Continue moving to the left until you reach another large vertical section.
From there, go directly left and take the first exit—this will lead to a small dead-end room. Defeat the two enemies inside, then speak with Jubilana to complete the wish.
If you don’t find Jubilana immediately, check her sales near the entrance of this vertical area. One of her items is located high up, and it might seem like you need a double jump to reach it. However, you can also lure a flying enemy nearby and use a downward strike to propel yourself upward.
Once freed, Jubilana can be found selling her wares close to the First Shrine in Songclave.
