Craftmetal is a rare and valuable upgrade material in Hollow Knight: Silksong, available in limited quantities early in the game. You can either purchase it or find it along your journey. Craftmetal is used to craft some of the most powerful tools in the game.
Several locations offer opportunities to buy or find this special material. Below is a list of those spots, along with guidance on where to take the materials for the best upgrades.
Bone Bottom
You can buy Craftmetal for 60 Rosaries from the merchant Pebb, located in Bone Bottom.
The Marrow
Near a bench to the right of Bellway Station, continue further right to a room with an explosive, glowing rock. Break the rock to reveal a hidden path that leads to Craftmetal.
Deep Docks
Starting at Forge Daughter, use a Simple Key to open the heavy door on the right. Explore the area to find a room with a locked gate. On the left side of that room, break the destructible section to access Craftmetal.
Blasted Steps
Head right from Bellway Station. After avoiding some worms, climb down along the wall on the right end of the area. Moving downward, you’ll find a room with Craftmetal in the left corner.
Underworks
Near the area where Hornet gains the Clawline ability, find a spot directly underneath that location to retrieve Craftmetal.
Wisp Thicket
Travel left from the Halfway Home in Greymoor, going up the tower and through the passage on the right to reach the second tower. From there, go through the second tower and exit at the top left. Use a double jump to access Wisp Thicket, where you can find Craftmetal near a brazier on the tower.
Songclave
After completing the Lost Merchant side quest (Wish), purchase Craftmetal from the merchant Jubilana for 180 Rosaries. She’s located in the Songclave.
Putrified Ducts
Use the Faydown Cloak to move to the right of the Putrified Ducts, past Fleatopia. Cross past the area and jump to grab the last piece of Craftmetal.
