While exploring Arcadia-7 in StarRupture, you’ll discover many secrets, but your main goal is to automate a factory and produce resources for various companies. Still, you need to survive on this planet, which requires more than just setting up structures.

As you search the world, you’ll find many different plants, each with unique properties. These plants can be combined into food recipes that grant special effects. While some plants are found all over the planet, many can be farmed at specific locations if you need more of them.

Polifruit is probably the first plant you’ll notice, easily recognized by its orange, carrot-like appearance. It’s common and can be found everywhere with grass on the ground. Eating Polifruit restores some Calories for free. You can also mix it with other plants to boost Calories or temporarily stop your automatic calorie drain.

Hydrobulbs are the second basic resource, shared with Polifruit. They help increase hydration, which drops over time. The best places to find Hydrobulbs are near water sources. A good starting point is a small pool just below the Titanium ore vein near the tutorial location. For farms, the southeast side of the map and the area below the Forgotten Engine are ideal, especially the large water pool on the far right, though enemies there must be defeated.

Star Tears are harder to find and typically grow on small rocks. They are useful for healing and resisting damage but don’t offer many effects when eaten alone. You can farm them around various rocks on the planet, with no single spot heavily concentrated. They respawn after each wave, so setting a route around your base can help you farm efficiently.

Purplant is a rare herb useful for reducing Toxicity, which can harm you if it reaches 100. You find it under rocks near cliffs where sunlight doesn’t reach, such as above Helium-3 deposits, near the giant vertical water pool, or near the top right red water area. Consuming Purplant or recipes made with it quickly decreases Toxicity.

Prickler is a versatile plant that provides both Calories and hydration, making it valuable for conserving inventory space. It grows on cactus-like structures in red flower fields across the planet. Locations include northeast of the Orbital Lander near the Wolfram vein, along the southeast map edge, and south and east of the big red lake.

Grubbler is an upgraded version of Star Tears. It heals more but causes more Toxicity. Found on large, leaning trees mostly in the southeast and northeast areas, they are easy to spot due to their size, and their location is indicated on your map.

Glowcap is among the best all-purpose resources. It offers health, hydration, and Calories, and can be crafted into recipes that boost resistance against negative effects like Drain or Corrosion. They grow inside underground caves, typically in clusters of three to five, which are accessible shortly after the wave resets. However, in some cases, Glowcaps don’t respawn after each wave, suggesting limited availability.

Serpent Root is vital for boosting Stamina regeneration, crucial for sprinting, double jumps, and dashes. You’ll find it in barren areas with no vegetation, usually away from greenery. These plants can double your Stamina regen rate when used, especially in combination with others. They are usually located in the dry regions of the map’s north and south.

Prism Herb is extremely rare, and you won’t find many in one spot. It doesn’t provide special effects in its base form except for Toxicity. But when combined with other plants, it greatly enhances their effects, such as Calories, Hydration, or Stamina recovery. It mostly grows in pools on the southeast side of the map, near specific landmarks like the Orbital Lander, below the Forgotten Engine, above the large blue lake, and near the crater-shaped hole.

Oxallop is another plant that can only be farmed right after a wave, during the planet’s regeneration period. During this time, water disappears from its usual locations, so Oxallop plants are found on beds where water once was—like around the big lakes to the northeast and southeast. Farming them allows you to craft capsules that provide continuous health regeneration and prevent calorie or hydration loss.

Sulheart is common but hard to farm. These plants grow near sulfur deposits, which show as bright yellow areas on the map. During planet regeneration, sulfur deposits are corroded. To farm Sulheart, you can either brave the corrosion and pick them slowly, with the help of anti-corrosion foods, or set up sulfur extractors on deposits immediately after a wave finishes, to prevent corrosion and farm regularly.
