After obtaining the Froslassite Mega Stone during the Pokemon Legends: Z-A campaign, there are multiple methods to acquire a Froslass and utilize it effectively. However, only one method guarantees success without the need for trial and error.
The easiest way to get a Froslass in Pokemon Legends: Z-A is by evolving a female Snorunt using a Dawn Stone. Additionally, you can find Froslass as a random Alpha spawn in the center of Wild Zone 20 and in four-star Hyperspace Wild Zones in the Mega Dimension DLC.
Snorunt is commonly found in Wild Zone 12, which becomes accessible after completing the main story’s Mission 14: Reaching Rank E. Spawning is frequent in this zone, making it the best place to find a Snorunt for evolution.
To evolve Snorunt into Froslass, you need a Dawn Stone. These stones can be found randomly in glowing Poke Balls in Hyperspace through the Mega Dimension DLC. You can also obtain a Dawn Stone by completing Side Mission 90, called “Froslass’s Unfinished Business,” or by purchasing one from the Stone Emporium for 3,000 Poke Dollars. After finishing the main story, the Stone Emporium is the quickest way to acquire a Dawn Stone. During the campaign, however, Side Mission 90 remains the only guaranteed method since the stone isn’t available for purchase until after the story concludes.
Side Mission 90 is unlocked after completing Main Mission 30: Reaching Rank B. This mission begins just above the map sign for Bleu Sector 3, east of Wild Zone 16, and requires prior completion of Side Mission 61: My Favorite Holovator, which involves using the Holovator during the quest.
During the mission, players follow guidance markers to trail the wild Froslass through rooftops. To complete the quest, simply follow the markers, which lead you to the Froslass. After following Froslass in the quest, a cutscene triggers, and you receive a Dawn Stone along with 400 Poke Dollars. Use this Dawn Stone on your chosen female Snorunt to evolve it into Froslass and add the Snow Land Pokémon to your collection.
