Golurk, a strong and durable Ghost and Ground-type Pokémon, makes a solid bulky addition in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. In the Mega Dimension DLC, it can only be obtained by including its Golurkite Mega Stone along with its pre-evolution, Golett. The DLC’s mechanics for catching Hyperspace Dimension Pokémon are a bit unclear, especially regarding how to acquire all three items—Golett, Golurk, and the Mega Stone.

Getting both Pokémon in the evolution chain involves similar requirements as other Pokémon from the DLC, like evolving Feebas into Milotic or finding Mudkip to evolve into Swampert. However, locating the Mega Stone is a different challenge entirely. Fortunately, this guide explains exactly how to find Golett, Golurk, and the Golurkite Mega Stone in the DLC.

### How to Get Golett
Golett cannot be found in the wild within the Mega Dimension DLC. The only way to get one is by catching a Golett in a three-star Ground-type Hyperspace Wild Zone that appears on the Lumiose City map during a certain part of the story.

The Hyper Space Wild Zones change daily between day and night, re-randomizing the Pokémon that spawn, but Golett’s three-star spawns only appear after you start ‘Hyperspace Mission 08: Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No.4,’ roughly five to seven hours into the storyline.

### How to Find the Right Wild Zone
Since spawn points for Golett are random, it may take some patience to encounter one. To increase your chances:
– Rest at a bench (use the “Kill some time here” interaction) to refresh spawns.
– Use the map to focus on Wild Zones marked with Ground typing or multiple types including Ground.
– Prime fast-travel spots for re-rolling spawns include the bench near the Nouveau Café, which is centrally located and easy to access.

Because Golett can be found in groups around Levels 136-137, you’ll need a Pokémon with at least a three-star Survey Rating (like Hoopla eating a three-star donut) to have enough survey time to catch one. When searching, look for Golett’s silhouette with a pointed, diamond-shaped head and a curved torso occupying the bottom right of the frame.

### How to Catch Golett
In the wild, Golett will appear in groups at high levels, making them tough opponents. To capture one:
– Use status effects or weaken it without fainting.
– Heavy Balls are particularly effective because Golett is quite heavy.
– Keep your distance by avoiding close-range attacks and keep moving to separate groups, ensuring you face one Pokémon at a time.

### How to Evolve Golett into Golurk
Once you’ve caught a Golett in the three-star Hyperspace Wild Zones, it will be around Level 26. To evolve it into Golurk:
– Use Rare Candies or EXP Candies to quickly level it up to Level 43.
– After reaching Level 43, select the ‘Evolve’ option, and Golett will transform into Golurk.

The evolved Golurk will then be ready to join your team, providing a solid Ghost/Ground presence for the rest of the DLC storyline.

### How to Get the Golurkite Mega Stone
The Mega Stone can be found in a special Hyperspace encounter zone marked by a yellow three-star ‘Unknown’ icon labeled ‘Unidentified Mega Stone detected!’ on the Lumiose City map. These zones sometimes include side missions; if you’re after Mega Stones, avoid these unless you’re prepared for trainer battles with characters like Grisham or Jacinthe, as they are not guaranteed Pokémon encounters.

Finding Golurkite requires patience and the use of bench re-rolls to refresh the map’s spawn points, especially since Mega Evolved Pokémon can appear alongside other rogue Mega Pokémon. Because the Mega Golurk encounter is random, it might take multiple attempts. Notably:
– The Mega Golurk spawn becomes available after starting ‘Hyperspace Mission 09: Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 5’.
– Before completing Mission 08, repeated bench re-rolls often yielded no result.
– After starting Mission 09, Mega Golurk appeared on the second try during testing.

When you enter the zone and see Mega Golurk in the distance, with its ghostly purple aura, you’ll know you’re in the right place.

### How to Defeat Mega Golurk and Obtain the Mega Stone
Mega Golurk is a formidable opponent at Level 150 in the Hyperspace Wild Zone. To defeat it within the survey time:
– Use Pokémon at least Level 140.
– Bring super-effective Ice-type moves, which target its weaknesses.
– Focus on targeting Water, Grass, Ghost, or Dark moves to conserve time and increase the chances of success.

Once defeated, you can battle to capture the Mega Golurk and retrieve the Golurkite Mega Stone. This high-level battle might require strategic team planning and well-leveled Pokémon, but success rewards you with the Mega Stone necessary for Mega Evolution.

### How to Get Golurk in Your Team
After obtaining the Golurkite Mega Stone:
– Fully unlock Golurk’s Mega Evolution by attaching the stone.
– Use the ‘Evolve’ option on your Level 43+ Golett again, if needed, to upgrade it to Golurk.
– Alternatively, if you already have Golurk, you can Mega Evolve it during battles with the Mega Stone equipped.

The pursuit of Golurk, Golett, and their Mega Stone involves exploring Hyperspace Wild Zones, patience, strategic battling, and re-rolling spawn zones. With persistence, you’ll expand your Mega Dimension team and unlock powerful Pokémon to help conquer the DLC content.
