How to Find and Evolve Galarian Farfetch'd in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

The Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A introduces a variety of new Pokémon, including many regional forms from older games like Galarian forms from Sword and Shield.

This update makes Galarian Farfetch’d and its evolution, Sirfetch’d, available through the new Hyperspace Distortions. Here’s how to catch a Galarian Farfetch’d and how to evolve it into Sirfetch’d.

How to Get Galarian Farfetch’d

Galarian Farfetch’d can appear in 3-star or higher Fighting-type Hyperspace Wild Zones. These zones start showing up around the city after completing Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 3.

You can try to find one by waiting at a bench to reset the Hyperspace Wild Zones until you spot Galarian Farfetch’d. Since it has a low chance of appearing, you might need to reset several times.

When you find one, catch it with any type of Poké Ball. Then, prepare to evolve it into Sirfetch’d.

How to Evolve Galarian Farfetch’d into Sirfetch’d

To get Sirfetch’d, your Farfetch’d must land a critical hit three times in the same battle. To improve your chances, do the following:

Visit the Jaune Pokémon Center to begin Side Mission 133: Farfetch’d Ambush. The NPC will give you a Leek, which increases Farfetch’d or Sirfetch’d’s Critical Hit Ratio by two stages when held.
Give the Leek to your Galarian Farfetch’d.
Level your Farfetch’d to at least level 27, so it learns both False Swipe and Focus Energy. Equip these moves.

Next, find a weak Pokémon in a location like Wild Zone 1, and start a battle. Use Focus Energy and False Swipe alternately to keep the opponent alive and increase the chance of landing Critical Hits. Keep doing this until you notice three Critical Hit notifications—then, you can knock out the opponent.

Once you’ve successfully landed three critical hits in one battle, your Galarian Farfetch’d is ready to evolve. Simply select the evolve option from the menu, and you’ll have your new Sirfetch’d.
