Side missions in Cyberpunk 2077 are a fun way to explore the game’s world and see how lively Night City is. These missions help you feel more immersed in the experience. Activities like the Reported Crimes, including “You Play with Fire…”, not only encourage you to visit new places but can also reward you with unique gear.
Additionally, completing these Reported Crimes can open up new quest lines, enhancing the Cyberpunk 2077 story. However, some players find “You Play with Fire…” a bit confusing. This guide will clarify things.
How To Trigger You Play With Fire…
Before you begin, you need to have at least started Act 2. If you have begun or finished the first mission in the second act called Playing for Time, you can access this side activity.
Once you’re in Act 2, you can tackle the “You Play with Fire…” Reported Crime at any time — you just need to locate it.
To find it, check your map for a large H-shaped building in Westbrook, located on the far east side of Charter Hills. At this building, you will see a gate marked “No Entry.” You can walk past it without triggering anything.
After passing the main gate, turn right into a courtyard filled with trees and pedestrians. As you walk to the center of the courtyard, you will notice a few enemies milling about and chatting.
You need to fight them. These enemies are not too difficult, but they can overwhelm you. Strike first and be quick, and you will take them down easily.
When they are defeated, one will have an icon above them, showing they have something important. From this enemy, you will earn some Eurodollars and, more importantly, the Archived Conversation: Zeitgeist and Jorge.
Reading this conversation will unlock the “You Play with Fire…” Reported Crime.
You Play With Fire… Walkthrough
The good news is that you don’t have to go far for the crime; it’s across the street from where you are. It will also show up in your Journal, making it easier to track the mission.
When you reach the designated area called Zeitgeist’s Den, you will see enemies on one side, away from the building you need to enter.
You don’t have to fight them, but defeating them gives you high XP and better gear. If you prefer, you can finish the mission without engaging anyone near the den.
Following the tracker will guide you to a small building. Inside, a table across from you will have a case on it.
To complete the Reported Crime, you must interact with the case and collect its contents.
Rewards For Completing You Play With Fire…
Inside the case, you will receive the Electric Baton Beta, Cyclone melee mod, and the List of Tasks. The List of Tasks is needed to finish the Reported Crime.
The main reward for completing this Reported Crime is that it opens up another quest chain called Nitro (Youth Energy). You will earn the Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa bike, making travel around Night City and the Badlands more enjoyable.
