How to Farm Treasure Goblins in Diablo 4 by Completing Quests and Solving Puzzles

Treasure Goblins are already a popular sight in Diablo 4, but the Goblin Greedings event takes their chaos to a new level. This limited-time celebration runs from December 18 to January 6 and fills Sanctuary with more friendly little goblins to hunt. During this period, defeat these goblins to advance along a special reputation track called the March of the Goblins.

As you progress through the reputation tiers, the loot dropped by Treasure Goblins gets better. Each level unlocks rewards that you must claim manually at Goblin Square, located at the Altar of the Goblin in Kyovashad. Remember, all rewards need to be claimed before January 6, as the event resets afterward, and unclaimed prizes will be lost.

The main rewards come from advancing the March of the Goblins reputation board. Increasing your reputation grants you caches with materials, Legendary items, runes, and Temper Manuals. Higher tiers provide improved loot, both in quality and amount. The rewards include:

– Magic Goblin Gift (Tiers 1-3): Provides a variety of items and basic crafting materials.
– Baron’s Gift (Tier 2): Offers a large amount of gold.
– Ector’s Gift (Tier 4): Focuses on high quantities of crafting materials.
– Rare Goblin Gift (Tiers 4-6): Contains valuable items and a Temper Manual.
– Murl’s Gift (Tier 6): Rewards a large bundle of Murmuring Obols.
– Legendary Goblin Gift (Tiers 7-10): Features powerful items and a Temper Manual.
– Prym’s Gift (Tier 8): Filled with gem fragments and runes.
– March of the Goblins Emblem (Tier 10): A profile emblem earned after completing the final tier.
– Fedric’s Gift (Tier 10): Grants a Resplendent Spark plus multiple runes.

The final tier of the reputation board can be repeated. Completing it initially awards you a Resplendent Spark used for crafting Mythic items, and subsequent completions continue to yield materials and loot. During the event, turning in Grim Favors at the Tree of Whispers also grants bonus rewards, including an extra Gift of the Tree called a Collection of Chaos, effectively doubling the rewards during Goblin Greedings.

Treasure Goblins spawn more frequently throughout Sanctuary, making them easier to find during the event. Helltides are especially effective for farming goblins thanks to dense enemies and frequent shrine spawns.

You can also claim free holiday cosmetics through the in-game shop during Goblin Greedings. These items are available at no cost while the event is active, and you can find them in the Gifts of Midwinter section. Examples include:

– December 18: Crook of First Snow, a free mount trophy.
– December 19: Fallow-ward, another free mount trophy.
– December 20: Tackle of the First Snows, a free mount armor cosmetic.
