You’ll need to pull from both the Hero Pick Up and Regular banners in the game, and expand your team options, so collecting Star Fragments is a smart move. There are several ways to earn this currency, and most of them are based on normal gameplay activities. If you want to farm Star Fragments early and stock up for some free pulls, here’s how to get them in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.
Where to Find Star Fragments
Star Fragments are scattered throughout the game world. You can get them by completing challenges or finding them in chests around the map. Here are the main ways to collect Star Fragments:
- Completing Daily Missions: You get Star Fragments for finishing all four daily missions each day.
- First-Time Dungeon Completion: Clearing a dungeon for the first time rewards you with a large number of Star Fragments.
- Boss Challenges: Finishing boss fights will give you a good amount of Star Fragments.
- Opening Chests: Chests are found throughout the world. Opening them can yield Star Fragments.
- Event Rewards: Participating in and completing events usually grants Star Fragments as part of the rewards.
- Leveling Up the Book of Stars: You earn Star Fragments when you level up your Book of Stars, with each new level providing a reward.
- Starlight Watch: Based on your character level, you can claim Star Fragments weekly from the Starlight Watch menu, but this resets every week.
If you find a chest behind a group of enemies, there’s a chance to get 100 Star Fragments—much more than the typical 30 or fewer from regular chests.
What Are Star Fragments Used For?
Collecting Star Fragments helps level up the Book of Stars. You can exchange them in the shop for various items, including Cube Keys and hero draw tickets—both regular and limited-time hero banners. It’s advisable to save your Star Fragments for hero summon tickets on limited banners rather than using them on regular banners, which are easier to access.
Shop Exchange Items:
- Cube Keys: Used to open Elite, Boss, and Dungeon Reward Cubes.
- Hero Pick Up Draw Ticket: Used to summon for limited-time heroes on the special banner.
- Regular Hero Draw Ticket: Used for summoning on the standard banner for permanent heroes.
Since Hero Pick Up tickets are rarer and more valuable, it’s best to save your Star Fragments for these limited banners rather than spending them on regular heroes.
