In My Winter Car, surviving isn’t just about protecting yourself from cold or avoiding hunger—it’s also about earning money to buy supplies and fund your dream of restoring old cars. So, how can you make money in this game?
The main way is pretty much the same as in real life: by getting a job. Some jobs involve doing repetitive tasks that can get boring, and the pay isn’t always high. However, there’s one job that’s not too bad, and it’s a good way to earn money quickly. Here’s how to do it.
How to Make Money Fast
You can take on multiple jobs, including some gambling opportunities, but if you want a reliable and less time-consuming way to earn decent cash, we recommend the Firewood Chopping and Delivery job.
This job doesn’t involve managing phone calls or listening to long conversations, and you work on your own schedule without a boss. To start, go to Kesselinpera, located in the southern part of the map.
Once there, you’ll see the tractor (called Kekmet) with a wood-chopper attachment. Enter the tractor, turn the hand throttle down before starting its engine (located on the right of the steering wheel), and drive so that the attachment is behind the tractor. Lower the rear hitch (on the right side of your seat), exit the tractor, and manually attach the wood chopper to it.
When you’re ready, head back to the tractor and use the PTO (Power Take-Off) handle on the left side of the steering wheel to activate the wood-chopping mechanism. Nearby, there’s a pile of logs on the left of where you found the tractor. Use the chopper to cut logs by pressing on the logs intermittently.
Carry the chopped logs to your clients, and you’ll earn about 2,000 MK depending on how many logs you bring.
How to Use Credit Cards
You start the game with a credit card that can be used right away. You also have a separate bank account with an additional 2,000 MK, which isn’t shown on the main screen but exists in the game’s backend.
You can use your credit card to buy fuel or go to an ATM. First, you need to interact with an ATM to activate it. Head to the PSK fuel station, where you’ll find an ATM on your right.
Insert your credit card into the machine. It will ask you to create a PIN—a two-digit number like 12 or 75. Don’t worry; you’re the one who sets this PIN the first time you use the card. Remember this PIN, because it will be used until you start a new game and cannot be changed later.
Once set, you’ll be able to check your bank balance, withdraw money, and make purchases using your credit card at ATMs or fuel stations.
