Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has now entered early access. Get your weapons ready and prepare to gather treasures. While exploring the game, you’ll mostly be fighting monsters, opening chests, and selling items to townspeople. There are also several items you can craft that will make your adventures easier.
There are quite a few crafting materials in Moonlighter 2, many of which can only be found on specific maps or after defeating certain enemies. If you want to collect everything available, here’s a list of the materials you can find on your journey.
Note: Since Moonlighter 2 is still in early access, how you get some items—and new materials that may be added later—could change in the future.
How to Get Every Crafting Material
Almost all materials are earned by exploring dungeons and defeating enemies. The type of material you find varies depending on the map and zone you’re in. For example, Spike Flowers give different materials during the Day and Night Realms of Kalina.

You can also buy several items from Nou after discovering them during your runs. He’s located in the southern part of the hub town. Here are some items you can purchase and their prices:
| Item Name | Price |
|---|---|
| Sun Eater | 2,500 |
| Moon Flower | 5,000 |
| Echo Link | 2,500 |
| Echo Bond | 5,000 |
| Oneiric Quartz | 2,500 |
| Oneiric Stone | 5,000 |
If you’re having trouble collecting materials, try finding Nou while exploring a dungeon. He’s marked with a question mark icon. Meeting him in a dungeon might give you a chance to encounter him.
When you find Nou, he offers various perks that last for the rest of your run. Some perks can increase the number of materials that spawn, especially those based on relics. Generally, it’s smart to buy relic-related perks from Nou, as they tend to be more useful in the long run.
You can also purchase the Double Materials perk from Tomo. This gives you a 5% chance that every material drop will be doubled. You can upgrade this chance to improve your odds, which is especially helpful when gathering boss-specific items. While boss materials aren’t essential right now, this perk could be really valuable in future updates.
