The different types of currency in Where Winds Meet are essential to gameplay and each serves a specific purpose. From the common in-game money, called Coin, to the developer-created Pearls used for monetization, all your earnings will help your character and enhance your gameplay experience.
All currencies are stored securely in your Money Bag and can be used to buy cosmetics, items, and skills. Although the game is still new, there’s already a lot to customize and prepare for your adventure.
What Are All The Types of Currency?
There are 12 types of currency currently in the game. Most of these are accessible as you play. Below, you’ll find details on where and when you can spend each type.
Most Common Currency
- Five Dynasties Coins: The most common type of currency. You can purchase items from in-game vendors with a total of 175,500 coins, which include Zhou and Song variations.
Other Important Currencies

Battle Pass Coins: No weekly cap, but you can earn up to 8,850 XP per week. These coins are used to buy cosmetics and other items in the Battle Pass Shop. You earn them by completing Battle Pass missions.

Commerce Coins: No specific cap. These are temporary and used with street vendors and mini-games. You earn them by winning mini-games, selling caught horses, and completing quests.

Echo Jade: No cap. Used to buy cosmetics, passive skills, and items from the Activity Shop. You can earn Echo Jade through quests, codes, exploration, opening chests, and defeating enemies.

Fourfold Coins: Cost 1,500. These are used for purchasing cosmetics and house items from the Bounty Shop. You earn them by completing bounties.

Four Seas Letters: Cost 1,000. Used to buy cosmetics and house items in the Four Seas Shop. You get these by completing co-op bounties and activities.

Harmony Coins: Cost 2,000. Used for cosmetics and house items in the Brotherhood Shop. You earn them by creating co-op teams, playing multiplayer, and participating in NPC quizzes.

Hundred Trades Treasure Coins: Cost 2,500. These are for buying cosmetics and house items in the Hundred Trades Shop. You earn them by completing career tasks through Hundred Trades activities.

Jade Fish: Cost 20,000. Used to purchase cosmetics, passive skills, and items in the Activity Shop. You can earn Jade Fish through various quest and exploration activities.

Jianghu Reputation: Cost 1,200. Used to buy cosmetics and house items in the Sect Shop. You earn this reputation by completing daily tasks.

Pearls: No fixed cost. These are used for purchasing premium items and cosmetics. You buy Pearls with real money.

Treasure Money: No fixed cost. Used for buying premium items and cosmetics without spending real money on Pearls. You earn Treasure Money by completing quests, crafting food and medicine, and other activities.
Note: Treasure Money can only be used after discovering the Ghost Market.
