The world of Borderlands 4 can be tough, with many Timekeeper minions, Psychos, and other bandits to face as you travel through Kairos. Finding allies isn’t easy, so it’s important to help them when they’re in trouble.
One side mission involves delivering food to fellow Outbounders after the previous delivery was lost. During the mission, you’ll meet resistance members and take out some enemies along the way. Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing the Working for Tips quest.
Step 1: Pick Up Rations
Start the quest by interacting with an Echo log in The Howl. Rush will then call you on the radio, letting you know that some allies have had their food stolen and asking you to bring them more supplies. After accepting the mission, get the delivery bag and head out.
You’ll need to deliver food to three different locations, marked on your compass. Feel free to visit these spots in any order.
Step 2: Deliver to Marlowe
Marlowe’s farm is overrun with rippers. Before giving him the food, you’ll have to clear out the rippers. Luckily, they have no special powers, so it’s an easy fight. After dropping off the supplies, you’ll meet Marlowe. He speaks strangely, probably from being scared or hurt, but Rush explains this. Once you’ve completed this delivery, move on to the next location.
Step 3: Deliver to Sylvia
Sylvia’s location is the easiest of the three to deliver to. You can leave the rations right at her door, with no enemies blocking the way. She’s a bit grumpy and refuses to tip, but Rush says she’s just hungry and genuinely appreciates your help. After dropping off the supplies, proceed to the final stop.
Step 4: Deliver to the Farm
When you arrive at the last place, you’ll be met by Order minions. They are tougher than the previous enemies, with shields and armor that increase their health. Make sure to use weapons with elemental effects to weaken their defenses. After defeating them, you’ll see that no one is left at the farm—likely caught in conflicts with the Order. Rush advises leaving the rations there anyway, hoping someone in need might find them. Once you finish all the deliveries, the quest ends, and you’ll earn some money and experience.
