Elden Ring: Nightreign has a new expansion called The Forsaken Hollows, adding fresh content to the game. It features a new map, new bosses from across the franchise, and two new hero options to play. One of the heroes is the Undertaker, a character built around Faith and Strength, aimed at maximizing damage. To upgrade her, you should complete her Remembrance quest, which grants special relics with Undertaker-specific bonuses. Here’s what you need to do to finish the quest and obtain her relics.
Undertaker Remembrance Walkthrough
Chapters 1–2:
Start by collecting Memory Fragments for the Undertaker by defeating Nightlords. It doesn’t matter which Nightlord you choose, but targeting easier ones like Gaping Jaw, Tricephalos, or Augur can speed things up. I only needed to kill one Nightlord to unlock Chapter 3, so check your journal after each fight to make sure you’re making progress on Undertaker’s Remembrance.
Chapter 3:
To begin this chapter, first talk to the Iron Menial. He will see you as a threat and try to kill you, but he has low health, so quickly defeat him. As he dies, he will call for other Nightfarers to attack you. Prepare for a challenge where you face a series of enemies, starting with the Executioner, who waits near the Small Jar Bazaar. Though these enemies don’t have much health, they can still pack a punch. Focus on staggering the Executioner to open him up for attacks since most of his moves leave him vulnerable, except his parry.
After defeating him, head to the Round Table, where Revenant and Guardian are waiting. If your Ultimate Art is ready, aim at Revenant first for a swift kill, then take on Guardian. You can even kill both with one Ultimate Attack if you time it right.
Next, return to the Small Jar Bazaar to find Wylder. Defeat him as he is a straightforward opponent, then proceed into the church. Inside, you’ll see Raider with Ironeye lurking in the corner. For this fight, focus on Ironeye first; his poison and range can be tricky. Take him out quickly. Raider is slow, but watch out for his jump attack. After defeating both, destroy the wall item and embrace the Night. Undertaker will start licking the wall (yes, really) until she hears footsteps nearby. Find the sound of footsteps to the northwest of the Roundtable, speak with the scholar standing by a statue, and complete this chapter to earn your first relic, the Leather Monocle Case.
Chapter 4:
Again, defeat Nightlords and gather Memory Fragments. Usually, defeating just one Nightlord is enough. Check your journal after each fight to make sure the step is complete; this part only counts when you’re playing as the Undertaker.
Chapter 5:
Speak with Dutchess at the Roundtable and exhaust her dialogue. Then, go to the small chapel that unlocked at the start of this DLC and pray at the altar. After that, talk to the Iron Menial, who will inform you about a new Shifting Earth event.
Jump into a match of either Balancers or Dreglord and head north toward the marked area. It’s recommended to do this solo, as most players won’t want to travel north to finish this quest portion. Remember, even though the description might mention other maps, this step needs to be completed on the Great Hollow map, not Limveld.
Start by reaching the castle with the red circle banner. Inside, look at the main gate, then go left around the castle exterior, following the cliffs to a jump point. Use this to reach the second floor of the castle, enter the room with a chained-up monster hanging overhead, and carefully climb onto it to reach the rafters. Be cautious—falling will force you to start outside and go around again, so take your time.
Once on the rafters, find a small door with a blue light and enter. Inside, you’ll see Scholar pinned to a large crystal. Interact to get an item and a brief dialogue. Finish the run (success isn’t required), then return to the Roundtable. Talk to the Scholar in the chapel, exhaust his dialogue, and this will conclude the Remembrance.
Chapter 6:
No more Memory Fragments are needed. For the final part, you need to defeat the Night Aspect and do a specific action afterward. Load up a run as Undertaker and fight the boss. This boss is weak to Holy, which suits Undertaker’s Faith weapons. After killing the Night Aspect, make sure to clear some items from your consumables before being taken to the final area.
You will receive an item called the Dismembered Finger. Drop it on the corpse nearby to trigger the last step of the Remembrance, signaled when Undertaker says, “This will do… I am sure.” Interact with the corpse afterward to complete the quest and unlock the final relic, the Glass Necklace, and optionally, her Remembrance skin.
