Building your ideal home in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance requires some effort, but you won’t have to do it alone. Many adventurers are ready to team up and share resources to create a home that matches your reputation. To get started, you’ll need to understand the different parts involved in developing your homestead.
From the initial steps to unlock your private island to customizing and making it uniquely yours, this guide covers everything about your homestead and its features. There’s always something to do, and you can even invite friends to join you there in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance.
How to Unlock the Homestead
Before you can start building your island home, you need to reach Adventurer level 40 and complete the Ocean Platinum Card quest with Connor. The Ocean Platinum Card is awarded during the main storyline but will stay in your inventory until you’re high enough level.
After hitting level 40, you’ll begin a quest with Connor to find a new, uncharted island. When you discover it, you can claim it by gathering the necessary construction materials, which you can buy from various exchanges around Asterleeds:
| Material | Where to Get |
|---|---|
| Pine Lumber (10) | Artisan Exchange |
| Cut Stone (10) | Gemcrafting and Gemcrafting Exchange |
| Pig Iron Ingot | Smelting and Smelting Exchange |
| Mortar | Alchemy Exchange |
Once you’ve collected the required items, head to the southern docks of Asterleeds. Show the Ocean Platinum Card to the attendant and board the ship to your new island home. You can invite friends to become roommates if they aren’t already sharing another home, allowing everyone to participate in building and maintaining the homestead.
What You Can Do at the Homestead
Once your homestead is unlocked, it becomes your personal space to customize and develop. As the game expands, the possibilities will grow. Here are some of the basic activities you can start with:
Decorate the Island and Mansion
You can select options to decorate both the interior of your mansion and the exterior of your island. You’re able to rotate furniture and place interactive items like crafting stations and gardening beds. All changes are saved automatically, so you can update your space without worries.
Using the crafting bench, you can make new furniture from collected materials. If you need more resources, you can purchase them from exchanges. Keep in mind that crafting takes time, so plan accordingly.
Plant Flowers
You can buy seeds and plant them in designated gardening spots. Flowers like tulips, roses, and hydrangeas take several hours to grow, after which you can harvest them. Cross-breeding flowers can produce new varieties with different colors and traits; however, it may take multiple attempts to get the desired results. To experiment effectively, try isolating a single flower type to control traits and colors.
Talking with Staff
There are four staff members on your island, each with specific roles to help maintain your homestead:
| Staff Member | Job Description |
|---|---|
| Connor | Quest agent; handles homestead missions and quest completion |
| Alice | Maid; cleans up clutter when you’re away |
| Sophia | Warehouse manager; manages storage and item deposits |
| Delphine | Merchant; sells items and buys your harvests |
You can visit them regularly to keep your homestead running smoothly.
Getting Roommates
Bringing friends into your homestead is easy! As long as they aren’t already part of another shared home, they can join yours. This way, everyone lives on the property, helps with upkeep, and earns friendship points. Housemates can redecorate, contribute to storage, and upgrade the island together. They can also leave items in the shared warehouse managed by Sophia.
Stores of items in the warehouse are limited by daily withdrawal and deposit caps, so coordinate with your roommates to avoid hitting limits. Keep track of separate restrictions for regular and valuable items.
With all these features, your homestead can flourish with flowers, custom furniture, and friends sharing the space. Spend your time relaxing on the beach, fishing in the ocean, or working on making your island the perfect retreat. As updates roll out, new activities and features will continue to enhance your experience.
