The Yok Huy are a giant race in Final Fantasy 14. They used to rule the continent of Tural but now focus on more peaceful ways of life and handling death. As of Patch 7.35, players can unlock their Allied Society for Disciples of the Hand, which allows you to help the Yok Huy deal with snow spirits they’ve lived alongside for ages.
Before you can start doing daily quests for the Yok Huy, you need to unlock their Allied Society. Here’s how to do that, including all the side quests you need to complete first.
How to Unlock Yok Huy Daily Quests
The Yok Huy are part of the Allied Society for Crafting Jobs, but all the prerequisite quests are handled by a combat job. There are two quest chains you must complete in Urqopacha, both beginning with an Aether Current quest you may have already finished. The final quest, Frosty Neighbors, unlocks the Yok Huy Allied Society. To start it, you must have finished the final Dawntrail quest and be at least level 90 as a Disciple of the Hand.
Once you complete Frosty Neighbors, you can do up to three Yok Huy Allied Society quests each day. Completing these quests grants reputation points and Yok Huy Wards, which can be exchanged for special rewards like the Vurgur the Loyal mount or a Wind-Up Yok Huy minion.
