One of the biggest challenges you’ll encounter in Palworld is summoning Raid Bosses. These are very strong Pals that you can’t find through normal gameplay. To fight them, you’ll need to bring them into your base for a battle or enter an otherworldly arena for a legendary fight.
We’ll guide you on where to find the items needed to summon Hartalis and how to defeat it to earn new rewards. Though it’s a tough fight, it’s very rewarding. Here’s everything you need to know about facing the newest Raid Boss Pal and how to succeed.
### How To Get Hartalis Tablet Fragments
Before you can face Hartalis, you must defeat Saya and Selyne at Sakurajima Tower. After that, you can send your Pals on expeditions from your base. Both Sakurajima Tower and Feybreak Tower provide a chance to earn Hartalis Tablet fragments as expedition rewards.
Make sure to send enough Pals so the success percentage is high; otherwise, your team might not return with the needed items. Each expedition requires four tablet fragments to craft a complete tablet, which you then bring to the Summoning Altar. Prepare yourself with your best weapons and armor before summoning Hartalis.
### How To Beat Hartalis
Hartalis is a deadly Pal with two different phases. It starts as a Water and Grass element Pal. In the second phase, Hartalis becomes a neutral element Pal.
The best strategy is to deploy Electric element Pals initially, then switch to Dark element Pals for the second phase. Since Hartalis is a level 65 Raid Boss, come equipped with the right gear, as you only have ten minutes to defeat it. Recommended gear includes a charge rifle, plasma cannon, Hexolite armor and helmet, an advanced bow, a beam sword, and an ultra shield.
Equip amulets that suit your preferred playstyle or what you currently have to improve your chances in battle.

The barrier can deflect attacks, allowing you to travel safely around the region.
