Before heading to the Ball Guy at Pinkline Harbor, go to the central area near the coast where the river flows into the ocean. Here, you’ll see a fisherman asking for help to raise his boat out of the water.
Use Travis to lift the boat, then thank the fisherman. He will give you a fishing rod called Rod, which you’ll need later.
Next, head south to the Liquid Nights club and use Bowie’s Soul Hole to shoot a red rune above the door, gaining access to the club. Inside, approach the DJs on the opposite side of the dance floor, and you’ll see a Ball Guy trapped in a small cage. Win a quick dance rhythm game to free him, earning your first Ball Guy.
Where is the B.A.L.L. Guy in Circuit Arcadia?
From Pinkline Harbor, travel north from the main fast travel point in Circuit Arcadia, where you’ll notice a wrecked taxi driver’s car. Approach the taxi driver and offer to help him transport passengers. You’ll be rewarded with a Taxiball, and he’ll send you out to find some passengers.
Help at least three waving people across the map and bring them to their destinations. You’ll earn tips for quick trips. After delivering three passengers—two may perish along the way—you’ll return to the taxi driver for your final challenge: taking the driver to the front of Rhea Pharma. Completing this task grants you the second Ball Guy.
Where is the B.A.L.L. Guy in Circuit Arcadia Zoo?
In the southeastern corner of Zephyr Paradise, head to the Circuit Arcadia zoo. Look for a body of water with a fishing pole outline. Some dialogue will hint that this is an unusual fishing spot worth checking.
Use the fishing rod received earlier from Pinkline Harbor to fish for the third Ball Guy. Aim for the fish outlined with a gold sparkle—once caught, you’ll successfully claim Ball Guy number three.
How to Unlock the B.A.L.L. Gun
After collecting all three Ball Guys, return to The Quarters and interact with the Ball Gun on the right side of the room, atop the small fish tank. When you do, the Ball Guys will be placed into the tank, and you’ll unlock the Ball Gun for your use.
Now you can enjoy your new weapon and the company of your three new friends on your team.
