The world of Where Winds Meet is vast, enchanting, and sometimes challenging to explore. The region of Hexi is no different from where you start and is filled with puzzles, mysteries, and secrets to uncover. Located deep within a sandy desert landscape, it requires different skills and strategies to solve its puzzles.
While exploring the Jade Gate Pass, you’ll notice streams of golden water flowing from cracked archways. These archways are gateways to the Divinecraft Corridor puzzles, where you can use specific abilities to earn unique rewards. When you approach an archway, a short cutscene plays, transporting you to the puzzle area.
For the Blink Acre puzzle, the total number of chests to find and the final reward are shown on the left side of your screen. You’ll see glowing, golden circles in front of you. Stepping into them activates the Chasing the Moon mystical skill and makes you start moving forward automatically.
Using and following the Milky Way path allows you to collect bubbles and travel through more speed circles. If you miss some of these circles, it’s okay, but losing all your momentum can make future jumps more difficult. Along the path, blue glow-in-the-dark bubbles appear, matching the number on your screen. Travel through these to gather the chests.
The path can split into two lanes. If you miss a chest at the end, it will be on the second path, so consider this when choosing your route.
Eventually, you’ll reach an area where you need to jump across platforms. Falling will send you back to the start, either back at the beginning or at the nearest Hero’s Tomb if available. For these jumps, maintaining good momentum and hitting glowing circles before the drop are critical.
At the end of the path, you’ll revert to human form. As you fall, commands will appear on your screen. You need to press these commands within a time limit, which is a timed event. Successfully completing them will land you at the end of the puzzle, where you can collect your main reward and then return to the main map.
When navigating the Divine Corridor puzzles, keep in mind that they involve floating platforms. Use your abilities to rewind time and bring platforms to your location. It’s necessary to plan carefully and use the ‘G’ key to hold and move platforms into position. You need to map out your route beforehand because standing on a platform too long will cause it to disappear, resulting in your death. If this happens, you’ll respawn at a Hero’s Tomb or the last lever you activated, where you’ll be healed.
The levers scattered throughout spawn platforms when activated. Only certain platforms, glowing gold from beneath, can be manipulated—these are the ones spawned through levers. Moving them into the correct position following the path laid out is essential for progressing.
On reaching the end of these platform puzzles, you’ll be transformed back into human form. Falling through the air, you’ll see on-screen prompts for commands that must be executed in a timed sequence. After completing these commands, you’ll land at the puzzle’s endpoint and receive your rewards, with the option to re-enter if you missed any chests.
The entrances to the puzzles are marked by a shimmering, golden glow and are located in various parts of the map. Most notably visible is an archway resembling a waterfall, which can’t be missed even in the desert.
Key locations include:
- Blink Acre: Located east of the Poplar Bazaar Boundary Stone near the end of the Milky Way path.
- Time Change: Found at the bottom of the Jade Gate Pass, east of the Squarewall Hold Ruins Boundary Stone.
During these puzzles, you’ll find several blue chests, with the total count displayed on the left side. On-screen prompts will guide you toward them, but only the platforms emitting a golden glow can be held and moved, which are spawned via levers. Careful navigation is essential, especially since old wooden bridges can become very narrow and prone to falling. If you fall, you’ll respawn nearby, ready to try again. Reaching the end yields substantial rewards, and you can revisit any time to hunt for missed chests.
Remember, holding ‘G’ effectively rewinds the platform’s movement, so watch where platforms originate from, not just where they are headed. Planning your moves ahead is crucial for success.
