If you’ve already completed the story of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension DLC, now’s the perfect time to focus on side quests. One of the best tasks you can do is filling your Pokédex and gathering all the TMs. Luckily, there’s a side mission that lets you do both at once.
Return to Wild Zone 8, where strange events have disturbed the Pokémon living there. Your job is to help the wild Pokémon go back to normal in the side mission called Terror in the Sands.
### How to Start & Complete Terror in the Sands
First, you need to advance the story to Hyperspace Mission 4: Le Musee et le Cafe. Doing this unlocks new side missions in Lumiose City, including Side Mission 146: Terror in the Sands.
Once you reach this point, fast travel to Wild Zone 8. You’ll see an exclamation mark to the west that marks the location of the mission. Approach this spot on Jaune Street and talk to Enque, who explains that something unusual is happening in Wild Zone 8 and asks you to investigate.
When you go inside the zone, a brief cutscene plays. Immediately, five Sandygast will attack you. Don’t worry—this is a good chance to add Sandygast to your Pokédex if you haven’t caught one yet.
### Tips for the Fight
Bring a strong Pokémon that can handle multiple hits and has an Area of Effect (AoE) move like Earthquake to quickly deal with the Pokémon.
You need to defeat or catch all five Sandygast. They are causing the recent disturbances in this otherwise peaceful zone. After dealing with them, return to Enque to claim your reward.
### Rewards for Completing the Mission
Once finished, Enque will give you:
– 8,000 Pokédollars
– The Scorching Sands TM
This TM is unique—it’s the only way other than Groudon to teach Pokémon this move, making it a valuable addition to your TM collection.
