At first, you might be able to generate enough chaos to hit your targets without any extra help. But once your quota increases, especially when playing alone, you may need a little assistance. YapYap provides a solution through contracts—optional tasks that grant additional Chaos Points. However, completing these can be tricky because the game only provides the task details listed on each contract; there are no extra hints or instructions.
### What Are Contracts?
Contracts are optional challenges you can undertake for extra Chaos Points. When you start a game, you’ll find three contracts posted on a wooden board next to the tree with the free wands. These contracts are randomly assigned each game session, and you can’t refresh or reset them unless you reload the game or start a new run.
You can check your progress on these contracts at any time by pressing the G key. The contracts stay the same night after night, so if you don’t finish them on the first night, they’ll carry over to the second. When you complete a contract, it gets stamped with a seal instead of being replaced, signifying its completion.
Since these contracts are optional, it’s okay if you don’t finish all of them before the run ends—the main goal remains meeting your nightly chaos quota within the time limit.
