My Hero Academia: All’s Justice, considered the final game in the series and a farewell to the franchise, features a character list of over 50 fighters, including every Class 1-A student for the first time.
While the game initially offers a large selection of playable characters, three specific characters remain locked until you reach certain milestones.
This guide covers how to unlock characters through story mode, with a separate guide coming soon for unlocking characters via Team-Up Missions.
How to Unlock Izuku Midoriya Rising
The most sought-after unlockable character is Izuku Midoriya Rising. You can unlock him in two ways:
- Purchase the Playable Character Early Unlock Pack for $2.99, which grants access to Rising Deku from the start. This option was also available as a pre-order bonus.
- If you prefer not to spend extra money or didn’t pre-order, you must complete the main story in All’s Justice. After finishing the final mission, “We Are Here,” and viewing the ending scene, Deku Rising becomes available for use in Free Battle mode.
How to Unlock All For One Chaos
All For One Chaos is unlocked in the same way as Deku Rising: either buy the Early Unlock Pack (or have received it as a pre-order bonus) or finish the game’s last story mission. Once accomplished, All For One Chaos joins your roster.
You’ll get a few chances to play as All For One Chaos during the story mode, giving you a taste of how powerful he is.
How to Unlock All For One Rewind
All For One Rewind is considered the true hidden unlockable. Unlike Deku Rising and AFO Chaos, it cannot be accessed via the early unlock pack. The only way to unlock Rewind is by completing the game’s story mode. Doing so will add Rewind to your character list, along with the other two characters, provided you haven’t unlocked them through pre-order or purchase.
Rewind cannot be unlocked separately; it’s only available after finishing the main story.
