Riot Games’ 2XKO has limited options for offline play, offering only multiplayer battles against friends on the same console or against the computer. However, the game features a detailed duo system and provides a variety of cosmetic items for each character.

Once you’ve learned the basics of the game, you might want to show how much time you’ve invested in your favorite champions. To do this, the game has a system called Champion Mastery, which allows you to unlock special items based on your experience with a champion. Here’s what you need to know about Champion Mastery and how to improve your levels.

Champion Mastery Explained

Champion Mastery is a leveling system that rewards you with exclusive cosmetics like stickers, titles, and avatar items for your favorite characters. You progress by earning Mastery Levels, which unlock different reward tiers.

Each champion has six reward tiers. To unlock each, you need a specific amount of Mastery Levels. For example, unlocking Tier 1 costs 5 levels, Tier 2 requires 15 levels, and the highest, Tier 6, needs 100 levels.

How to Earn Champion Mastery Levels

To increase your Mastery Level with a champion, you need to complete challenges specific to that character. These challenges can be viewed in the Champions menu under the Champion Mastery section for each champion.

Challenges come in three types: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Initially, only Bronze challenges are available, and completing them unlocks the Silver challenges. Both Bronze and Silver challenges can only be completed once. Gold challenges are repeatable, meaning you can complete them multiple times.

Most challenges involve winning matches or performing specific actions during a game. Keep in mind that only matchmade games, whether casual or ranked, count toward your progress. Offline matches against the computer or friends do not contribute to Mastery progress.

Your Champion Mastery carries over across game seasons, but all completed challenges are reset when a new season begins.
