There are already a lot of weapons and cosmetics to find in Borderlands 4, spread throughout the open world and various challenges across Kairos. But if that isn’t enough—especially if you’ve used up all your SHiFT codes—there’s another way to get extra rewards.
By watching your favorite streamers play the game on Twitch, you can earn exclusive loot through Twitch Drops. This is a great way to add more gear to your stash. You may also want to upgrade your backpack if you haven’t already. Below, we’ll update you on all the current rewards available through this method.
Borderlands 4 Twitch Drops
Currently, there are three Twitch Drops you can unlock, and the process to get them is straightforward.
If you don’t want to watch the stream, you can mute it and just let it run in the background.
Here are the available drops right now:
Reward | Time Needed | Expiration Date |
---|---|---|
Watch, Drop, and Roll, Echo-4 Drone skin | 30 minutes | September 29 |
Forsaken Chaos, legendary shotgun | 2 hours | September 30 |
Midnight Defiance, legendary sniper | 2 hours (partnered creators only) | September 30 |
After claiming these items, they will show up in the Reward Center section of your Borderlands 4 inventory. All gear will automatically scale to your Vault Hunter’s level at the time of receipt, with a minimum level of five.
Linking Your SHiFT and Twitch Accounts
To participate, you need to connect your SHiFT and Twitch accounts. Just go to the SHiFT website, open the ‘Gaming Platforms’ tab, and click the ‘Link’ button beneath Twitch. Log into your Twitch account, and you’ll be good to go.
Tracking Your Twitch Drops Progress
To see how close you are to earning your rewards, open the Twitch Drops & Rewards section. This lists every campaign you’ve joined and shows how much time you have left on each one.
