Discounty may be a short game, but it’s full of tasks and missions. Your main role is to help Aunt Tellar manage a new supermarket in a quirky little town. Between shifts, there’s plenty to explore and do.
There are 17 achievements and one Platinum trophy to earn in Discounty. Most of these come naturally as you progress through the main story, but a few are a bit tricky and worth aiming for early, so you don’t miss out near the end.
How to Unlock All Achievements in Discounty
The achievements are quite straightforward and can be unlocked by playing normally. However, keep an eye on a couple of specific ones to ensure you don’t spend too much time grinding after finishing the game.
First is “An Apple A Day,” unlocked by selling 365 apples—one each day, like “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” The best way to hit this is by purchasing a Produce Booster to place near the apple shelves, encouraging customers to buy more. You might need to spend some extra time after completing the main story to reach this goal.
Another achievement is “Scrub Amok,” which requires you to clean 10 messes in Discounty within a single day. Since customers leave dirt behind, you typically clean those up right away. But for this achievement, wait until there are at least 10 piles of dirt before mopping them. Remember, only messes inside the store count; messes outside don’t contribute.
Finally, “Traffic Jam” involves causing a traffic jam by standing in front of a car on the highway for one in-game hour—that’s 60 seconds in real time. This can be done either first thing in the game or after work, ensuring it doesn’t interfere with other tasks.
