When exploring Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen, you’ll find that some Pokémon are much rarer and appear in unique ways that don’t involve tall grass. One such Pokémon is Eevee, which presents a tricky choice due to its multiple evolutions, known as Eeveelutions.

In these games, you can only get three Eeveelutions: Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon. Sylveon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Umbreon, and Espeon are not available here. Here’s how to get Eevee and evolve it into these forms.

### Where to Find Eevee

To find Eevee, first reach the Celadon City Pokémon Center. From there, follow the path to the right, heading toward the back of the Pokémon Center. Go through the trees, then turn left to enter a multi-floor building’s rear area.

Next, climb a few flights of stairs until you reach the roof. Once there, go down the other set of stairs into a room with a Black Belt and a Poké Ball on a desk. Claim this Poké Ball to receive your Eevee.

### How to Evolve Eevee into Jolteon, Vaporeon, or Flareon

After obtaining your Eevee, head to the Department Store in Celadon City. Go up to the fourth floor, where Wise Man Gifts sells evolution stones. You’ll find three stones:

– Water Stone: 2,100 Poké Dollars
– Thunder Stone: 2,100 Poké Dollars
– Fire Stone: 2,100 Poké Dollars

You may also find these stones for free in the wild across Kanto:

– Seafoam Islands: Water Stone
– Power Plant: Thunder Stone
– Mt. Ember: Fire Stone

To evolve Eevee, use the appropriate stone while it’s in your party. Simply select the stone to trigger the evolution.

– Use the Thunder Stone for Jolteon.
– Use the Water Stone for Vaporeon.
– Use the Fire Stone for Flareon.

Currently, only one Eeveelution can be chosen per Eevee. To get more Eevee, you can breed your evolved Pokémon with a Ditto at the Daycare on the Sevii Islands, but you cannot catch Eevee directly in the wild.
