After you pass through the mirror at the end of Chapter 1 in Little Nightmares 3, you will immediately start Chapter 2: Candy Factory. Low still has his bow, and Alone continues to have her wrench. However, neither of you will be carrying the feather umbrellas anymore.
Like Chapter 1, this chapter has five doll collectibles and is about the same length. The entire chapter takes place in a twisted candy factory, where you’ll face a boss that looks like both an old woman and a spider called The Supervisor.
Avoid The Supervisor In The Office
Unlike the first level, you’ll meet the boss almost immediately. From the starting point, keep moving until you reach a platform with a button that Alone needs to smash with her wrench. Continue forward until you see a small window through which you can glimpse someone.
Before entering the next room, beware this will be your first sneak encounter. Head through the hatch into a large office space with a desk near the back wall. When you enter, The Supervisor will come in, looking through papers on the desk.
Tip: Stay crouched at all times; if you stand up, she will see you, even if she’s facing away.
The key is to stay crouched near your entrance point. Wait for her to move toward the cabinets on the right, then sneak under the desk behind her. You cannot remain crouched where you first entered, because she will move there after the cabinets and might spot you.
After she moves, she will leave through the door on the right, which you can follow into a hallway decorated with portraits and a movable cart at the end. Push the cart up to the right-side counter and continue into the next room. Be careful not to get too close to the live wire until Low shoots the button to turn the power off.
Next, you’ll enter a large room filled with filing cabinets. Like before, The Supervisor will walk back and forth across the room. Sneak past her first to the middle, then to the far right where a ladder awaits.
Doll Collectible — Number One
When you reach the top of the ladder, move along the beams until you get to the middle section. Before turning right, head left along the beam to find your first doll of the chapter sitting on some beams.
Escape From The Supervisor
Once you’re in the room with a lever, one of you will need to boost the other so they can pull it. After pulling the lever, immediately run through the door to the right. The Supervisor will appear from a door on the left and start chasing you. If you’re quick enough, she will be blocked by a loose pipe in the ceiling, allowing you to escape safely.
Avoid The Candy Weevils
In a subsequent room where a glowing battery sits in a socket, pull it from the wall to carry it around. This small light keeps Candy Weevils (bugs) away, preventing them from swarming you. Take the battery to the far right and insert it into the socket to activate a light above, scattering the bugs.
Warning: Keep close to your partner while holding the glowing battery. If they drift out of range, the bugs will swarm them, and you’ll need to restart.
Climb Through the Vents
Ahead, you’ll see a room with candy and a body pouring from a vent. Climb around the vent using the back wall grate. On the other side, flip the lever there to turn on a light that scatters the bugs, revealing a trap door beneath.
Doll Collectible — Number Two
In the room with the broken elevator, head left through a window to reach a place with a large stack of objects. On the floor in the back right corner, you will find the second doll of this chapter.
Power The Elevator Puzzle
In a room with a damaged elevator, two empty sockets are available for the batteries you are collecting. The first can be filled with the battery you just found in the previous room.
To get the second battery, climb a stack of trays while the other player pulls a lever on the back left to activate hooks overhead. The player at the top can then jump and grab onto the hooks. It may take a few attempts, as depth perception can be tricky.
Once hanging, hold on tight as you’re carried into a room containing the second battery. Pull it from the wall and toss it through the pipes. Return to the elevator and place the battery into either socket.
Doll Collectible — Number Three
Next, reach a room with a broken elevator. Exit into a corridor with a balcony. Before proceeding, climb back through a window into a small room on the side to find the third doll sitting on the floor.
Find The Fourth Doll
After collecting the third doll, you will come to a hallway with a portrait of The Supervisor. Crouch to enter the back left room. Inside, on a table with a sewing machine, you’ll find the fourth doll.
Solve The Mine Cart Puzzle
In a room with a track and a mine cart, a lever controls the tracks. One of you must flip the lever to change the path, then push the cart to the far left, fill it with candy, and push it back to the right. When full, climb aboard and pull the nearby lever hanging over the cart to open a trap door you can drop through.
Defeat The Supervisor
After activating the trap door, you’ll see a scene where The Supervisor searches for you. She leaves, but as soon as you open the hatch to move on, she will return in a fury.
Quick tip: Expect quick jumps and slides to escape her. Sprint whenever possible.
Eventually, you’ll reach a lever, and one of you must boost the other to reach it. Pulling the lever will trigger a trap that crushes The Supervisor in a giant press, ending her threat and completing the chapter.
Doll Collectible — Number Five
Finally, after the boss fight, head into a hallway featuring The Supervisor’s portrait. Crawl under the door at the back left into a room. On the left, you’ll see a table with a sewing machine, with the fifth and final doll sitting on the floor beside it.
Collect this last doll, then proceed to the opposite room to find the mirror that transports Low and Alone into Chapter 3: Carnavale.
