A Silent Hill game isn’t complete without multiple endings. Since the first game in 1999, each installment has introduced new endings, whether they expand on the original, offer entirely different outcomes, or just add a fun, lighthearted twist.
Silent Hill f continues this tradition in several ways. Most endings build on the initial conclusion, but some are extraterrestrial-themed as well. The UFO ending is unlocked differently here compared to previous games—there’s much less alien technology involved. Here’s how to achieve it.

### Can You Unlock the UFO Ending on Your First Playthrough?
Like most Silent Hill titles, the humorous and over-the-top endings can’t be unlocked during your first game. In Silent Hill f, only one ending is available initially. The rest are only accessible after starting a New Game Plus, which requires loading a saved game from when you’ve already beaten the game.
However, you only need to have completed the original ending to move toward the UFO ending, called the Great Space Invasion. You can unlock it fairly early in your playthrough after meeting just that one requirement.
It’s a good idea to keep a save file marked as “Clear Game.” That way, you can start a New Game Plus without replaying everything from scratch if you decide to pursue the other endings later.

### Finding the Radio Broadcasts
There are a few prerequisites for unlocking the UFO ending, which you can check under the Endings menu after finishing the main story. Even though the steps seem many, they’re actually quite straightforward:
– Listen to all the UFO radio broadcasts.
– Find all three “The Great Space Invasion” movie posters in the correct order after hearing the broadcasts.
– Discover the “Great Space Invasion” movie review after completing the above.
You should start with the radio broadcasts, but don’t worry—finding each poster isn’t strictly dependent on listening to all broadcasts first. You can collect the posters in any order, then revisit them to get the ending as long as the sequence is correct.

### Radio Broadcast #1
The first broadcast is shortly after being chased by the Fog Monster. Spot a light in a narrow alley, then follow it inside. Climb under debris to enter a small interior, where you’ll hear a radio crackling. It mentions a bridge out of town destroyed by an unknown object—mysterious indeed.
—
### Radio Broadcast #2
The second broadcast can be heard when heading toward Rinko’s house. It’s in a house at the corner where the rice fields start. Enter via the back ladder, find the radio in one of the rooms, and interact. You’ll hear some people congratulating each other before it cuts off, which is quite strange.
—
### Radio Broadcast #3
The last broadcast is located in the southern part of Ebisugaoka, similar to the first location. It’s encountered when moving back toward the middle school area with Rinko and Shu. After passing through the house there, listen to the radio again; it talks about how not every day needs to be extraordinary, even hinting at extraterrestrial themes.
Note: There are no explicit indicators that you’ve heard all three broadcasts. Use your judgment based on how odd they sound, and remember that all posters become interactable once listened to.
—
### Finding the Great Space Invasion Movie Posters
Along with the broadcasts, you need to find three posters for the movie “The Great Space Invasion.” These posters must be viewed in strict order; interacting with them out of sequence won’t unlock the ending. However, you can fix the order later by revisiting and re-interacting with them in the correct order.
To confirm you’re interacting with the right poster, check the number in its description—first one, then two, then three.
#### Poster #1
This first poster is located on your way to Rinko’s house, deep in the rice fields. In the far east corner, find the house and move aside some planks to enter the yard. Inside, you’ll find the poster on the wall. Proper interaction triggers a cutscene where a UFO streaks across the sky.
—
#### Poster #2
Next, locate this poster in Ebisugaoka, right across from the Hokora, as you travel toward the Middle School. Correctly interacting will show a scene of two UFOs in the sky.
—
#### Poster #3
The final poster is the earliest you can find but the last you should interact with. North of Chizuruya, enter an alley by weaving from the east side. You’ll encounter a mannequin enemy stabbing a wall beside the poster. This alley is also part of an early journey with Shu and Rinko. Interacting correctly triggers a scene with three UFOs; getting it wrong results in a strange alien noise.
—
### Picking Up the Movie Review
Once you’ve listened to the broadcasts and found all posters in the correct order, you can locate the “Great Space Invasion” movie review. It only appears after the necessary conditions are met and is conveniently located near Chizuruya’s entrance.
As you walk away from the last poster, you’ll hear a louder alien noise approaching the shop. Interacting with the review will trigger the UFO ending. Be sure to save beforehand if you want to keep this ending instead of restarting the game.
Interestingly, if you listened to all the radio broadcasts in a previous playthrough, you might only need to find the posters in order to unlock the ending this time. The game seems to track listening progress across saves.

### Additional Notes
If you miss the movie review initially, you can still find it later when revisiting Ebisugaoka. Just make sure to revisit the area after completing the earlier steps, and it’ll be available for interaction.
