Umamusume: Pretty Derby is a highly competitive game that offers several optional challenges to test your skills. One such challenge is the Dual Dirts achievement, which requires winning two major dirt races.
Only a few racers are skilled on dirt tracks, and both of these races are miles long. To succeed, you need to accelerate quickly and build your speed before your senior year. Sometimes, you might need to train a new Umamusume to be competitive, especially if you’re aiming to earn the achievement.
### What is the Dual Dirts?
The Dual Dirts achievement in Umamusume involves winning two specific dirt races that happen as part of the same series: the February Stakes and the Champions Cup.
Both races are held on dirt turf and are mile races, so speed over shorter distances is essential. You must win both races in the same year to earn the achievement, which rewards you with 150 Carats.
| Race | When to Find It |
|—————–|——————————|
| February Stakes | Late February of your senior year |
| Champions Cup | Early December of your senior year |
### How to Win Dual Dirts
Since these races take place in your senior year, it’s important that your racer’s stats are high enough to compete. A speed of around 700–800 is recommended to stand a good chance. Racers with a strong aptitude for Dirt and Mile tracks are ideal candidates.
Because mile races don’t require much stamina, a stamina range of 300–400 is sufficient. The best racER for this challenge is Haru Urara, who performs well on dirt and mile tracks. However, she doesn’t have top speed, so you’ll need to use skills and support cards wisely to maximize her potential.
You can also improve your racers’ dirt aptitude by using Legacies with Dirt Sparks. Silence Suzuka and Sakura Bakushin O are strong choices for speedy races and can help you prepare for these races.
