If you’re planning to summon Hyacine when she debuts in Version 3.3 of Honkai: Star Rail, you can begin gathering her materials ahead of time for both her Ascension and Trace-level upgrades. Hyacine is one of two new playable characters arriving in the next patch, alongside Cipher, who is also a Chrysos Heir. She has been confirmed as a 5-star Wind character following the Path of Remembrance by HoYoverse. While additional gameplay details have not yet been revealed, leaks from patch 3.3 provide some insight into how her abilities might function.
Based on these leaks, Hyacine will take on the role of a healer in team compositions. She is expected to utilize her Skill and Ultimate ability to heal allies while summoning a guardian known as Ica. Notably, when her Ultimate is activated, she enters a special state that boosts the Max HP of her teammates. Ica’s damage is reportedly linked to the amount of healing Hyacine provides, making her a valuable asset—especially in teams featuring Mydei or Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail.
Gathering Materials for Hyacine: Worth the Effort Despite Potential Risks
In anticipation of her release, all of Hyacine’s necessary materials for Ascension and Trace leveling have been leaked. The details, such as item types and quantities, can be found on her page in the Honey Hunter World database. By pre-farming these materials, you can save significant time in leveling her up after you summon her, allowing you to elevate her to Level 80 and enhance her abilities immediately after obtaining her.
However, pre-farming does come with risks. Because the information from Honey Hunter World is based on leaks, the materials required for Hyacine may change as she’s tested. If HoYoverse alters any of the materials, some of your farming efforts may go to waste. That said, if you’re willing to accept this risk, pre-farming is still a solid strategy, enabling you to incorporate Hyacine into your primary team compositions quickly.
Materials You Need to Pre-Farm for Hyacine
The initial materials needed for Hyacine consist of Fear-Stomped Flesh, Courage-Torn Chest, and Glory-Aspersed Torso, all obtainable from defeating Titankin and Crepuscular Beasts in Amphoreus. The most efficient way to gather these materials is to participate in Calyx (Golden) activities on Amphoreus, which guarantee drops along with other useful items like Credits and Character EXP Materials in Honkai: Star Rail.
Here’s a breakdown of the materials required for each level of Hyacine’s Ascension:
Level Ascension | Materials Required | Rewards |
---|---|---|
Level 20 | 5x Fear-Stomped Flesh, 4,000x Credits | |
Level 30 | 10x Fear-Stomped Flesh, 8,000x Credits | |
Level 40 | 6x Courage-Torn Chest, 3x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 16,000x Credits | |
Level 50 | 9x Courage-Torn Chest, 7x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 40,000x Credits | |
Level 60 | 6x Glory-Aspersed Torso, 20x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 80,000x Credits | |
Level 70 | 9x Glory-Aspersed Torso, 35x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 160,000x Credits | |
Total Needed | 15x Fear-Stomped Flesh, 15x Courage-Torn Chest, 15x Glory-Aspersed Torso, 65x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 308,000x Credits |
Additionally, you will need 65 copies of A Glass of the Besotted Era, a material specific to certain Wind characters. This can be farmed in the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Gloam activity in the Penacony Grand Theater map. You should be able to collect this material with relative ease, typically requiring you to complete the activity 13 times.
To fully ascend Hyacine, you’ll need to spend 308,000 Credits, plus an additional 508,000 Credits if you’re using Character EXP materials to level her up. You can farm extra Credits at Calyx (Golden): Bud of Treasures and gather Character EXP in Bud of Memories; both located in Amphoreus will also yield Fear-Stomped Flesh.
Trace Materials to Pre-Farm for Hyacine
For her Trace-level upgrades, Hyacine will again require Fear-Stomped Flesh, Courage-Torn Chest, and Glory-Aspersed Torso. These can also be collected daily from daily Assignments and monthly from the Embers Exchange store. They may also be rewards for limited-time events, so always grab as much as you can since Trace leveling requires significantly more materials than Ascension.
Here’s a list of the materials needed to completely level up Hyacine’s Traces in Honkai: Star Rail:
Material Needed |
---|
Fear-Stomped Flesh |
Courage-Torn Chest |
Glory-Aspersed Torso |
Bīja of Consciousness |
Seedling of Manas |
Flower of Ālaya |
Lost Echo of the Shared Wish |
Tracks of Destiny |
Credits |
In addition to the three materials collected earlier, you’ll need Bīja of Consciousness, Seedling of Manas, and Flower of Ālaya, which can be farmed in the Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Remembrance activity in Strife Ruins on the Amphoreus map. Given the substantial number required, be prepared to spend time farming these materials unless you have accumulated surplus from previous farming sessions.
At advanced Trace levels, you will also need Lost Echo of the Shared Wish, which can be obtained by defeating the weekly boss, Harmonious Choir: Great Septimus, located in the Echo of War: Salutations of Ashen Dreams activity in the Penacony Grand Theater map. Due to weekly limitations on boss challenges, it might take several weeks to gather the necessary amount, so starting your farming efforts early is essential.
Additionally, for higher Trace levels, you will need Tracks of Destiny, which are best obtained weekly from the Simulated or Divergent Universes or can be earned through reputation system upgrades and limited-time events. If needed, Tracks of Destiny can also be purchased from the Embers Exchange shop.
Finally, remember that upgrading all of Hyacine’s Traces will require a total of 3 million Credits. Make sure to consistently farm for Credits at Calyx (Golden): Bud of Treasures. Fortunately, all of Hyacine’s materials can be pre-farmed before her release—allowing players to maximize her potential right after summoning her in Honkai: Star Rail if they prepare accordingly.
