Although Choral Chambers isn’t the most difficult area in Hollow Knight: Silksong, it can still be challenging for some players to navigate. This area is packed with tough enemies, tricky platforming sections, and other obstacles. Since it’s a late-game zone, it’s important to be well-prepared and have some skill before entering.
If you’re having trouble finding your way around Choral Chambers, this guide will give you all the necessary information about getting the map. It also highlights some special collectibles you can find here, so you can be sure you’ve cleared the area before moving on. Where to Find the Choral Chambers Map in Silksong
Map Location
In this guide, we’ll start from the point on the map marked above, where the Choral Chambers map can be obtained. There’s a bench here, just north of the Underworks area.
If you haven’t unlocked this part yet, head southwest within Choral Chambers until you drop into a large rectangular room. There’s a single exit leading south and another lower right. Use the lower right exit to reach a short corridor with a bench. Sit on it to save your progress and then continue.
Enter the big rectangular room west of the bench. Move left until you see a hole in the floor; just to the right of it, there’s a small platform. Jump onto it, then wall jump your way upward through this area until you see a corridor on the right.
Run down this corridor and wall jump into a higher room. Keep wall jumping upward past an alcove with Rosaries hanging on strings until you arrive at a new area. Immediately head to the right into the next screen.
Clear out or pass past the enemies here, then end by attacking the lever to open a hole in the floor. Drop through, move right, and then curve back up to reach another platform. On the left side, there’s another lever that opens an exit to a room above. Hit it, jump up, and continue right.
Avoid the enemies in this room and immediately go through the exit on the right. Use pogo jumps on the bells and platforms to reach a narrow passage on the right, then enter the next area.
Keep moving right and platform over spinning gears. In this vertical room, drop all the way to the bottom while avoiding spikes on the right side—this is a good spot to use your glide. At the bottom, follow the signs to the Bellway station.
Near the Bell Beast, sit at the bench to save and recover. Continue to the very end of this corridor to find a machine that sells the Choral Chambers map for 70 Rosaries.
Important Locations in Choral Chambers
The map above shows all the key spots in this area. One of the most important places to visit is the Songclave, located at the northeasternmost point of Choral Chambers. Here, you’ll find a Wishwell that starts the side quest “The Wandering Merchant.” This quest involves rescuing Jubilana, who is located near the bottom middle of the area.
From the Citadel Spa, go right, drop to the bottom of that room, and then exit right. Turn around and use the exit just below and to the left to find Jubilana. There’s also a lost flea in the northeastern part of this room. Rescue Jubilana, and she will set up shop at the Songclave.
When you return, you’ll be able to buy various items from her, including tools like the Ascendant’s Grip and Spool Extender, as well as a Mask Shard. Completing the “Lost Merchant” quest (check the Wishboard) will cause her inventory to expand. Another lost flea can also be found in the northeast corner of the Songclave.
While there are no major boss fights in Choral Chambers, there is an Arena Battle just west of the Citadel Spa, where you’ll face four waves of enemies.
From Choral Chambers, you can directly reach The Slab—a secluded prison with tough challenges and valuable rewards. You can also access Cogwork Core in the middle of the zone and start heading toward The Cradle or Memorium.
Additionally, there are several benches: one near Cogwork Core, one northwest next to the entrance of High Halls, plus others at Citadel Spa and Songclave. These checkpoints make traveling through this large area much easier.
