The newly announced Helldivers 2 Halo ODST Warbond introduces some well-known weapons and armor from Halo 3: ODST, finally uniting the Helldivers and Helljumpers. PlayStation users will get their first chance to wield the ODSTs’ signature silenced SMG, Magnum, along with Halo 3’s assault rifle and shotgun. Additionally, players can dress up as Rookie and Dare in Helldivers 2, with new armor sets and a stealth-based armor passive.
This Warbond, which coincides with the upcoming release of Helldivers 2 on Xbox, is a “Legendary Warbond.” It’s the first of its kind and costs more than the standard Warbonds—about 1,500 Super Credits compared to the usual 1,000. To help you decide if this crossover is worth it, here’s a full rundown of what’s included in the Helldivers 2 Halo ODST Warbond.
All Rewards from the Helldivers 2 Halo ODST Warbond
The Warbond features 17 different items, including four classic Halo ODST weapons, two armor sets, and nine cosmetic options. While some may find this a bit light for a premium package, the four new weapons alone offer plenty of ways to customize your firepower.
Here’s what you can unlock:
-
Weapons:
- MA5C Assault Rifle: A familiar favorite from Halo 3 and ODST, with a decent rate of fire and a 32-round magazine. It also displays digital ammo and includes a compass.
- M7S SMG: Iconic for Halo 3: ODST, this silenced SMG has large magazines, a fast fire rate, and strong recoil, making it tricky to handle but excellent for stealth.
- M90A Shotgun: A pump-action shotgun from Halo 3, perfect for taking down Flood and other enemies like the Flesh-typed Terminids and Illuminate.
- M6C/SOCOM Pistol: ODST’s quiet yet powerful sidearm, with an integrated suppressor for stealthy kills.
-
Armor Sets:
- A-9 Helljumper armor and helmet: Classic ODST design reminiscent of Rookie’s gear, featuring the new Feet First passive. This makes you quieter when moving, immune to leg injuries, and improves your ability to spot points of interest.
- A-35 Recon armor and helmet: Worn by Dare in Halo 3: ODST, this set also includes the Feet First passive for stealth.
-
Patterns and Cosmetics:
- Mean Green skin for vehicles like the FRV, Exo Suits, Shuttle, and Hellpods, bearing the standard olive drab hue of the UNSC military.
- Eye of the Clandestine Cape
- Honored Heirloom Cape
- Player banners for “Eye of the Clandestine” and “Honored Heirloom”
- Player titles, including “Rookie”
How to Get the Helldivers 2 Halo ODST Warbond
The Warbond will be available for purchase with Super Credits starting August 26 in the Superstore—on the same day Helldivers 2 hits Xbox. Since this is the first “Legendary Warbond,” it’s priced higher than usual at 1,500 Super Credits instead of the regular 1,000. It’s important to note that Premium Warbond Tokens cannot be used to unlock Legendary Warbonds, including this one. However, these tokens can still be used to unlock other non-Legendary Helldivers 2 Warbonds.
Keep in mind that more Helldivers 2 Warbonds might be released in the future, offering additional content to enhance your gameplay.
