Pokémon GO is entering the exciting GO Fest season with the Ancients Recovered event. This event emphasizes The Legendary Titans and provides numerous chances to catch these iconic Pokémon, especially if you’re looking to complete your Pokédex. It also serves as excellent preparation for the year’s biggest event.
This event builds on recent happenings like Phantom Ruins, which added new Pokémon to the game. While Ancients Recovered doesn’t introduce any new creatures, it offers great rewards and benefits for all participants. The event runs from Monday, June 23, at 10 AM local time, until Friday, June 27, at 8 PM local time.
Bonuses and Rewards in Pokémon GO
Raid-Based Incentives for Players
Ancients Recovered focuses on raid battles with Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon GO. While there won’t be new Pokémon arrivals or changes to spawns, you can earn bonuses by participating. The first three Legendary Titans—Regice, Registeel, and Regirock—are from Generation 3, and additional ones are also available in Pokémon GO.
This event is all about raids, and the bonuses are tailored to help trainers complete them. First, all trainers will have their remote raid pass limit increased to 30, allowing for ample chances to catch Legendary Pokémon regardless of location. Following the event, from Friday, June 27 to Sunday, June 29, during Pokémon GO Fest, there will be no limits on remote raids for players.
Trainers at least level 31 will also receive XL Candies from trades.
New cosmetic items will also be released, including fresh backgrounds and special event-themed stickers. The most significant addition, however, is the contested Bottle Cap. This item, introduced in the mainline series, allows for one-time hyper-training of a Pokémon, maximizing its level. In Pokémon GO, it will update any caught Pokémon to maximum IVs, but it can only be obtained by purchasing the seasonal battle pass where it’s listed as one of the rewards.
Finally, additional challenges are on offer. A Global Challenge will be accessible, where all trainers contribute to unlock boosts for the upcoming Pokémon GO Fest 2025 event if completed.

All six Legendary Titans can appear in their shiny forms once you defeat them in raids. Plus, during the event, they’ll have unique Charged Moves, making them rarer and more effective in battles. These Legendary Titans will be featured in five-star raids, while lower-tier raids will remain consistent with the regular schedule.
Completing these raids requires multiple trainers due to the high HP of these Pokémon.
There will also be more chances to catch the six Legendary Titans through Timed Research during this event, with the potential for shiny forms. Additionally, there will be optional timed research available for purchase, offering encounters with either Galarian Articuno, Zapdos, or Moltres. Ancients Recovered sets the stage perfectly for GO Fest 2025 in Pokémon GO, presenting endless opportunities to catch the Legendary Titans.
