The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies brings an exciting new way to run a business, even from the comfort of your own home. What better way to enhance your entrepreneurial journey than by pursuing an aspiration? In this game expansion, you can aim to become an Esteemed Entrepreneur, also known as a business star.
This aspiration unfolds over four stages that align with the usual growth of a small business. As you progress, you’ll be expanding your business, creating goals, and ensuring a stream of satisfied customers. Like any aspiration in The Sims 4, each milestone involves completing specific tasks to achieve success. Here’s everything you need to know to complete the Esteemed Entrepreneur aspiration in The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies.
How to choose the Esteemed Entrepreneur aspiration
To select the Esteemed Entrepreneur aspiration in The Sims 4, choose it during the Create A Sim phase or in-game by clicking the star icon in the lower right corner. You’ll find this aspiration under the Popularity category; it’s the first option available.
Each of the four stages in this aspiration requires your Sim to gain wealth and popularity. Without reaching these objectives, completing the aspiration will be challenging. Luckily, we’ve mapped out what you need to accomplish for each milestone.
How to complete the Esteemed Entrepreneur aspiration
The Esteemed Entrepreneur aspiration consists of four milestones, each with three tasks. Here’s what you need to achieve for the Friendly Founder milestone:
- Grow your small business to a hopeful hustle: Impress your customers and boost your Business Renown by completing activities, delivering high-quality products and services, setting discounts, and building friendly relationships with customers.
- Have 20 customers visit your small business: Increase your Business Renown by opening up frequently, promoting it to other Sims, and using small business perks to draw in customers.
- Acquire a small business perk: As you run your business well, you’ll earn Perk Points that can be spent on small business perks. Choose carefully, as some perks will affect your business alignment (this becomes important later).
Next, for the Popular Operator milestone, you need to:
- Grow your small business to a striving startup: Continue to earn Business Renown by regularly opening your shop and monitoring customer feedback to ensure satisfaction.
- Reach the first level of dreamer or schemer alignment: Check your alignment in the small business menu; a flying duck represents a dreamer, while a purple cat represents a schemer. Perform specific customer interactions to align with your chosen path.
- Hire an employee and become friends with them: Use the small business menu to manage employees and pick someone you know to help run the business.
For the Honored Home Businessperson milestone, your tasks include:
- Get a happy customer: Once you reach the second level of alignment, you can start receiving positive customer feedback.
- Grow your small business to a neighborhood gem: Keep managing the business efficiently and warmly to earn Renown and level up.
- Reach the second level of dreamer or schemer alignment: Continue interacting with customers to progress and obtain your first happy customer.
Finally, to complete the Esteemed Entrepreneur milestone, you need to:
- Grow your small business to a local legend: Take your time to reach this level while focusing on the other two tasks.
- Get 5 more happy customers: Foster friendly interactions with customers, provide excellent service, and offer quality products for positive reviews.
- Reach the third level of dreamer or schemer alignment: Keep engaging with customers and navigate moral dilemmas to advance your alignment as long as your choices are consistent with your Sim’s path.
