The start date for Fortnite’s Simpsons season has been officially confirmed for Saturday, November 1,, 2025. This aligns perfectly with the ending of the current Battle Pass, which wraps up on that morning at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time, as shown on the game’s official website and in-game Battle Pass screen. After the current season concludes, the Simpsons-themed season will kick off immediately, following a brief live event featuring Kang and Kodos.
The biggest change in this new season will be the addition of several Springfield characters. If you’ve played recently, you might have already noticed Kang and Kodos flying their spaceship alongside the battle bus. Leaks suggest that more familiar faces will join the fight, including Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Krusty, Moe, Ned Flanders, and Scratchy. Additionally, Bart and Lisa will pilot mech suits to match the size of other characters, similar to Morty from previous seasons. Expect Simpsons versions of Peely and Fishstick, with more surprises coming after launch.
The season map has also been leaked and shows a detailed recreation of Springfield, including landmarks like the Nuclear Power Plant, Evergreen Terrace, and the town square, all rendered in a cel-shaded art style that matches the show’s look. There’s already a teaser in the game at the cliffs northwest of Creepy Camps, where Bart’s treehouse has emerged from a rift. Climbing into the treehouse reveals The Simpsons’ TV, which switches between static and iconic scenes from the show. Outside, a countdown is running towards a mini-event featuring Kang and Kodos, signaling the start of the new season. Once the event occurs, servers might go down briefly before the season officially begins.
Leaks also suggest that companions—an evolution of Pets from earlier seasons—will be revealed soon, possibly featuring characters like Santa’s Little Helper and Snowball II, or something entirely new.
The Battle Pass for this season is expected to cost around 1,000 V-Bucks, which is roughly $8.99 or £6.99 in real money. Fortnite’s free-to-play model means you can enjoy the game without paying, but buying the Battle Pass grants exclusive rewards and quicker progress. You can even get a head start by purchasing the Battle Bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks (about $22.99 or £17.49), which instantly upgrades you to Tier 25. Subscribing to Fortnite Crew at $11.99/month provides early access to passes, bonus V-Bucks, and other perks.
If you prefer not to spend money, you can try earning free V-Bucks through official methods—just beware of scams online. Remember, only 1,000 V-Bucks are needed to unlock the Battle Pass when it becomes available.
