Fortnite Players Say Superman's Mythic is Completing Underpowered

Fortnite players agree that the new Superman Mythic is underpowered, especially since players expect to be using the Man of Steel.

While Fortnite is a huge game, this season feels less exciting compared to some previous ones in Chapter 6. The main highlight so far has been the addition of Superman, inspired by David Corenswet’s version in James Gunn’s movie.

Superman isn’t just a new skin in the Battle Pass. Recently, a Mythic called Superman’s Call was added to Fortnite. This gives players his cape and the chance to play as Superman, complete with his well-known superpowers. Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to live up to the hype.

Since Superman was added to Fortnite on July 11, players have voiced concerns about how weak he is. Even though he can fly, uses heat vision, and has super strength, Superman doesn’t feel that powerful due to various issues.

One major problem is that Superman’s Mythic has a timer that runs down quickly, especially when he’s shot, making him hard to use effectively. Amazingly, the seemingly bulletproof Man of Steel can be taken down easily by bullets.

Many Reddit posts are discussing how “weak” Superman’s Mythic is, including a popular one by Reddit user Adorable_Strike_1134. Most comments agree that his health is too low for his character, and he dies too quickly to be worth using. With his ability to be tracked, he becomes an easy target.

Other complaints include that the heat vision is weaker than in other versions, the ability doesn’t always show up in matches, and his moveset isn’t very exciting. Overall, this season’s big addition falls short and doesn’t do Superman justice.
