When does Fortnite Chapter 7 begin? The date has been officially set for November 30, 2025. As with every new chapter, players can expect major updates, including a fresh map, new mechanics, and a mix of familiar and new characters to meet.
Epic Games is always working on improving Fortnite, so there will likely be more changes during Chapter 7 and beyond. If you’re curious about what Season 1 might bring, here’s what we currently know.
The release date for Fortnite Chapter 7 has been confirmed for Sunday, November 30, 2025. This was announced through official channels and in the game itself. It aligns with the ending of the current Battle Pass, which finishes on November 29 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time. The new chapter will start right after that, following a big live event to wrap up Chapter 6. During this transition, the servers will be offline for a while until Chapter 7 launches the next day.
One of the major highlights for Chapter 7 is the involvement of Quentin Tarantino, along with Uma Thurman, reprising her role as The Bride from the Kill Bill movies. Season 1 seems to be heavily inspired by Kill Bill, featuring Yuki Yubari, a character who was cut from the original film. This chapter was initially titled “Yuki’s Revenge,” and now players can experience that story in Fortnite.
Before the new season begins, you can unlock the Yuki Yubari outfit for free by logging in between November 27 at 6 a.m. Pacific Standard Time and December 1 at the same time. It will be available immediately for use once you redeem it.
Epic also shared a teaser image for Season 7, showcasing some interesting details. Besides Uma Thurman as The Bride, you can spot Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly from Back to the Future, with what appears to be the clocktower from Tilted Towers in the background. The image hints at other references, like characters holding Lego Ninjago weapons, The Seven logo, and a Golden Cube reflected in a character’s helmet.
A quick glimpse of the upcoming map shows a desert biome, among other new locations. We’ll get a clearer look when the chapter officially launches later this week.
While Fortnite is free to play, unlocking the Battle Pass requires V-Bucks. The Season 7 Season Pass will likely cost around 1,000 V-Bucks, which is the standard price since it increased from 950 V-Bucks at the start of Chapter 6. This is roughly equivalent to $8.99 or £6.99, which is the cost of the smallest V-Bucks bundle in the store.
To get a head start, you can buy the Battle Bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks—about $22.99 or £17.49—allowing you to reach Tier 25 instantly. Alternatively, the Fortnite Crew subscription, costing $11.99 or £9.99 per month, gives access to all current Passes, including the Battle Pass, along with a monthly bonus of 1,000 V-Bucks and exclusive items.
If you prefer not to spend money, there are ways to earn V-Bucks for free. Just be cautious of scams online. Remember, only 1,000 V-Bucks are needed to unlock the Season 7 Battle Pass starting in November.
That covers everything we know about Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 for now. Keep checking back, as more details will be shared as they become available.
