The Jungle is the fourth area you can explore in Luma Island, situated far from the main island. Traveling there doesn’t involve flying; instead, you’ll need to sail, but the townsfolk are unable to help, as the pier is still damaged and many boats are unusable.

Additionally, the Lighthouse requires repairs for a safe journey, and you’ll need a map to navigate to the Jungle. Your best bet is to fix the broken boat on your farm. However, gathering the necessary materials means confronting challenges in both the Forest and the Mountain regions.

How to Repair the Boat

The boat you need to access the Jungle is found on your farm’s beach, near the center of the map. It’s the same one located close to where you start the game.

To gather all the materials necessary for the boat’s repair, you’ll have to unlock access to the previous areas: the Forest and the Mountains. You’ll also need resources from these locations and to repair two important structures in town: the General Store and the Lighthouse.

In total, you’ll require six materials: three specialty items you have to find and three that can be crafted:

  • Lost Jungle Island Map
  • Boat Motor
  • Propeller
  • Mountain Wood Planks
  • Moonstone Bars
  • Mountain Coloring

You’ll need to complete certain quests or locate specific areas to obtain the three specialty items, similar to how you acquired the Cogwheel for the Cable Car.

Materials Needed and How to Obtain Them

Material How to Obtain
Mountain Wood Planks x50 Refine Mountain Wood in a Sawmill, obtained by chopping trees on the Mountain.
Moonstone Bar x25 Smelt Moonstone Ore in an Ore Smelter, found by mining nodes in the Frozen Mountain Cave.
Mountain Coloring x50 Craft using Mountain Berries at a Simple Workbench; found on the surface and in Mountain Temples.

How to Get the Lost Jungle Island Map

To acquire the Lost Jungle Island Map, you’ll need to repair the Lighthouse, which was damaged during an earthquake on Day Five. This repair process involves two stages.

First Repair Stage: You must first repair the General Store, as it’s the only place that sells the needed scaffolding. Altogether, you will need five Fiber, ten Forest Wood Planks, 15 Forest Stone Blocks, five Iron Bars, and 25 Glass between both stages of repair.

Materials Required for the Lighthouse Repair

Stage One:

  • Silk Rope x15: Crafted using Spider Silk.
  • Mountain Wood Plank x30: Refined from Mountain Wood.
  • Scaffolding x10: Purchased from the General Store (costs 2,000 Gold each).

Stage Two:

  • Mountain Stone Block x50: Refined from Mountain Stone, obtained by breaking boulders on the Mountain.
  • Moonstone Bar x30: Smelted from Moonstone Ore.
  • Glass x20: Smelted from Sand using a Kiln.
  • Cement x15: Crafted from Calcium, Sand, and Charcoal in a Kiln.

Once you have all the materials ready for each stage, click on the Lighthouse to complete the repairs. After finishing, talk to Nelson to collect your reward, which is the Lost Jungle Island Map.

How to Get the Boat Motor

For the Boat Motor, you don’t need to do anything special to unlock it; it’s simply always available at the Fisherman’s Shop. However, it costs 100,000 Gold. To gather enough gold, you should aim for at least a Skilled or Expert level in your chosen profession to unlock more profitable recipes.

Tip: Opening purple chests in the Forest and Mountains yields valuable jewelry that can significantly help with your gold needs. Once you’ve earned the gold, visit the Fisherman’s Shop anytime to buy the Boat Motor for your repair.

How to Get the Propeller

The Propeller, another essential component for the boat, can be obtained after unlocking the Mountain and reaching its highest point.

This trek is filled with challenges. Start by following the path leading from the Cable Car platform to the northeast, making your way to the northwestern corner. As you climb, you’ll encounter various obstacles such as rolling snowballs that can knock you back, sections with falling snow, repairing scaffolding to block snowballs, and a Snowstorm Prism that emits deadly beams.

Navigate these hazards carefully to reach the top of the Mountain, where you’ll find the Propeller at an unfinished campsite, next to one of the shortcut caves and a Red Chest that contains the drawing for the Villa.

What Can You Find in the Jungle?

Once you’ve gathered all six materials and repaired the boat, you can sail to the Jungle. You’ll land on a beach similar to your farm, where you can start collecting new materials like Jungle Wood and Jungle Stone. Other items available for harvesting include Jungle Berries and Giant Flowers, which can be used to obtain Jungle Flowers.

Additionally, as soon as you arrive, the new bait type for fishing, Dragonflies, becomes available, along with various seafood like Lobster, Caviar, and Octopus.

You’ll also encounter new enemies such as the Skeletal Sludge and Saw Plant. The Jungle offers new materials for the Treasure Hunter Profession, including Pirate’s Black-Gold Bars and Pirate Jewels.

Should you wish to explore further, you’ll find bridges that require repair for access to new areas—each requiring five Jungle Wood Planks, five Jungle Stone Blocks, and ten Silk Ropes.

How to Find the Jungle Caves

The first location to check out is the Forbidden Jungle Cave, where you can gather Volcanic Ore and acquire new gems for Jewelry crafting. The cave is located northwest of your landing spot, just past the Skeleton Sludge, marked by a shallow curve of sand leading to the entrance.

Inside the Forbidden Cave, you’ll find not only Volcanic Ore but also Charcoal nodes. This area provides new gems such as Sunset Fire Opal, Ruby, and Diamond, along with Platinum Rubble to craft Platinum Bars.

Expect encounters with Jungle Spiders, the fastest spider variant, which may resist your initial attacks, adding another layer of challenge to your adventures.

With these tips, you’re well-equipped to explore Luma Island’s Jungle and uncover the treasures that await!
