What Is the Auroral Armour?

Before you can acquire the Auroral Armour, you must defeat Baramos and enter the World of Darkness, Alefgard. Once you’ve completed those tasks, you can start your search.

Traditionally, the Auroral Armour is thought to be found in Tantegel Castle, along with the Hero’s Shield and Sword of Kings. Unfortunately, all these items have been scattered throughout the world. The Auroral Armour boasts exceptional defense stats, provides protection from fire and ice attacks, and even heals you as you walk. It’s definitely worth pursuing.

Where Can You Find the Auroral Armour?

To locate the Auroral Armour, set sail to the northernmost part of the map and head to the Tower of Rubiss. Before you go, make sure to grab the Faerie Flute from Kol. Once you’re ready, venture inside.

Getting to Rubiss requires some careful navigation through the tower, but finding the Auroral Armour is simpler. Climb the stairs all the way to the fourth floor, then enter the large gray structure at the center of the map.

Inside, you’ll find a room with tricky flooring—one wrong move can send you crashing to the level below. Use the D-pad to carefully maneuver and prevent yourself from slipping off.

The main challenge in reaching the treasure chest with the Auroral Armour involves the various tiles that alter your movement. They can twist your controls, rotating them 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on the direction of the colored arrows. As a helpful tip, use the up and down arrows on the D-pad to make sure you stay on track and don’t accidentally walk off the edge.

Once you successfully navigate to the chest, open it to claim the Auroral Armour as your own. If you haven’t saved Rubiss yet, now would be a good time to do so. This armor will be invaluable in your quest!
