How to Get to Wishblossom Ranch
When you buy the Wishblossom Ranch DLC, you’ll find a letter in your in-game mailbox offering a free, unlimited vacation to the new area. It includes a train ticket and instructions to reach Wishblossom Ranch. Head to the Dream Castle, then go through the port and board the train.
Once you arrive in the alpine mountains, a thick fog keeps the sunlight out. Your adventure begins right when you step off the train, and it seems there’s a mystery surrounding the gloomy atmosphere. The local Wishblossom flowers are dying, and you’re the only one who can help save them.
How to Free the Wishblossoms
The Wishblossom flowers are under attack by the Decay, which has caused dark red crystals to form at their roots, draining their pixie dust. To free these giant flowers, you need to break the dark crystals and restore the pixie dust flow.
How to Save the Wishblossom of Hope
The Hope Wishblossom is the first to need help. You must clear three sections of the cavern to free it. Here’s how to reach each crystal:
- Pink Corner: Navigate an elevator and drawbridge to access pressure plates. Ride the elevator to push a painted boulder onto a pressure plate, then activate the drawbridge. Use your horse on the second plate to open the crystal’s door and destroy it.
- Blue Corner: Weigh down two pressure plates by moving a giant Wishblossom Ranch boulder behind it, then use your horse to stand on the second. This opens the door to the crystal.
- Green Corner: The easiest to reach—simply follow the path behind the Wishblossom to the crystal and smash it with your horse.
How to Save the Wishblossom of Ambition
After you get the second Crystal Key from Cruella De Vil, visit Tinkerbell in the Crystal Caverns to access the next cavern part. Bring Maximus with you to find the missing elevator handle, install it, call the elevator, and cross the gap to reach the Ambition Wishblossom.
To reach each crystal:
- Blue Area: Use Maximus to sniff out and retrieve the missing lever, then operate the drawbridge and activate levers to lower elevators. Move painted boulders as needed.
- Green Area: Cross the flooded section, lower the drawbridge, and push the painted boulder onto a pressure plate.
- Pink Area: Move the elevator out of the way, cross the water with Maximus, break the crystal, then return to the Ambition Wishblossom.
How to Save the Wishblossom of Dreams
The third Wishblossom needs help from all previously saved horses. After obtaining the next Crystal Key from Tigger, return with Khan to break wooden barriers, and with your ranch horse to move painted boulders onto pressure plates.
Reach each Decay crystal:
- Blue Cave: Send Maximus to sniff out the missing lever, then reinstall it. Use it to operate the drawbridge, activate levers, and clear the path.
- Green Cave: Use Khan to break barriers and activate the elevator lever.
- Pink Cave: Push the painted boulder onto the pressure plate and smash the crystal.
Once all three crystals are broken, speak with the Dream Wishblossom to free Pegasus. Return to Snow White, who will tell you more — like how new Decay Crystals are appearing across the mountains. You’ll need to break 18 in each biome to restore peace.
All Wishblossom Ranch Characters and How to Unlock Them
The expansion introduces new characters, including four villagers and some iconic horses like Maximus. These characters are trapped across various biomes of the ranch, and your task is to find and free them.
How to Unlock Snow White
Upon arriving at Wishblossom Ranch, Snow White is the first character you’ll meet. Help her complete quests to rebuild her house. Once built for 2,500 Star Coins, she will officially join your village and become a friend.
How to Unlock Cruella De Vil
Cruella appears after you save the Hope Wishblossom from dark crystals. To meet her, bond Maximus to level three so he can leap over to Glamour Gulch (De Vil Moor). Follow her tracks to the Quarry and complete her quests to help her return home. Her house costs 15,000 Star Coins.
How to Unlock Tigger
After Maximus reaches level four, he can break down a metal barrier in Glamour Gulch to access Pixie Acres. Tigger gets stuck in a tree there, and with help from Tinker Bell, you can craft a potion to rescue him. After freeing Tigger, help him reunite with his balloon friends and win carnival games to get the third Crystal Key.
How to Unlock Tinker Bell
You’ll find Tinker Bell after Snow White, but she can’t leave until the Wishblossoms are safe. Her pixie dust is essential to keep the mountains intact while the flowers weaken. Finish the main story to fully welcome her into the village.
All Wishblossom Ranch Critters and Their Favorite Foods
There are three adorable new critter companions:
- Geese: Found in the alpine region; feed them Red Currant berries from bushes like blueberries or raspberries. They are shy, so be patient.
- Skunks: Reside in Glamour Gulch; love Button Mushrooms and Pincushion Peaches. Approach them carefully by playing red-light, green-light to avoid getting sprayed.
- Bees: Be found in Pixie Acres; their favorite food is Honey Coral, which can be fished from honey-waterfalls, or flowers (after playing tag).
How to Unlock Horses and Mounts
As you advance in the story, you’ll unlock various horses, from classic Disney characters like Pegasus and Khan to fully customizable ranch horses. These mounts come with unique abilities helpful in solving puzzles and caring for the village.
Initially, only one stable spot is available in Wishblossom Ranch. You can upgrade it by crafting kits with Snow White, increasing the stable capacity to four horses. Keep an eye out for green chests that contain new bridles, saddlebags, and headgear for your steeds.
