You have a lot of activities to keep you busy in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance—leveling your character, upgrading skills, selecting a second specialization, and more. As you progress, many of these tasks will require in-game currency to advance.
These currencies include Lumo, Rose Orbs, Meowlux Points, and their Unbound versions, each serving different purposes. Here’s how to earn and use all these types of money effectively in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance.
Currency Overview
Lumo vs. Rose Orbs: What’s the difference?
Lumo is the main currency for skill upgrades and essential boosts for building your character across all classes. You’ll find Lumo (Bound) frequently during gameplay, such as from NPC shopkeepers in towns, with the primary use being to improve your character’s skills. Remember to check your chosen specialization to spend Lumo (Unbound) on the best skills suited to your play style.
Rose Orbs, on the other hand, are mainly for cosmetic items, loot boxes, emotes, outfits, and other optional extras. If you want new outfits, mounts, or house decorations, you’ll spend Rose Orbs (Bound).
Bound vs. Unbound Currencies
In the game, currencies come in Bound and Unbound forms. The main difference is that Unbound versions are rarer and harder to get. They also unlock access to more valuable rewards. You’ll notice a small chain icon on Bound currencies, indicating their status.
