In The Sims 2, there are plenty of jobs for your household to choose from, helping them to earn Simoleons and expand their horizons. One of the most rewarding paths is the Science career, where your Sim can dive into the intricacies of chemistry and virus production. Though the journey may be lengthy, the knowledge and skills gained along the way make it all worthwhile.

In this guide, we’ll outline how to thrive in the Science career, including essential skills and networking tips for building relationships in your neighborhood. Everything you need to know about forging a successful path in the Science Career Track is summarized below. Let’s get started!

Science Career Track

If your Sim isn’t keen on becoming a doctor but still has a passion for understanding the science that underpins medicine, the Science career is a fantastic fit. With numerous opportunities to gain knowledge and conduct research, the rewards for this path are truly exceptional.

This career often comes with long hours, but as you climb the career ladder, your shifts will become shorter!

Science Career Reward

Once your Sim reaches level six in the Science career, they will gain access to the SimSanto Inc. Biotech Station. While this valuable tool occupies a significant amount of space, it allows your scientist Sim to create medicines for use or sale.

Moreover, they can also manufacture viruses to unleash when they’re feeling down. These viruses can be quite dangerous, so it’s essential to monitor their progress while crafting. With strong logic skills, Sims can deliberately create viruses.

Caution! Those with a low logic skill might unintentionally create and release a virus, so make sure to handle the device with care.

Using this gadget helps Sims boost their logic skills and fosters a passion for science. It can also be utilized to teach other Sims, allowing knowledge to spread more efficiently throughout your household.
