Night City, the expansive setting of Cyberpunk 2077, is truly massive. If you’re planning to explore every corner by driving—or, heaven forbid, walking—you’ll likely spend a lot more time than intended. The city features a wide range of districts, from lavish hillside mansions to impoverished neighborhoods, and everything in between. Below is an overview of the Cyberpunk 2077 map and essential information about utilizing fast travel.

This image showcases the entire playable area of Cyberpunk 2077, featuring six districts along with the Badlands and surrounding regions. The blue lines represent roads, giving a clear picture of the city’s layout. By the time you finish the main storyline, you’ll have visited most major locations through various missions.

Every district operates independently, with a mix of vendors, services, and fast travel nodes. This allows you to thoroughly explore an area without the constant need to seek out supplies elsewhere.

You’ll spend a significant amount of your time within the city’s six primary districts, each featuring smaller sub-districts, largely controlled by different gangs:

  • Watson – Northside, Arasaka Waterfront, Little China
  • Westbrook – Japantown, North Oak, Charter Hill
  • City Center – Corpo Plaza, Downtown
  • Heywood – Wellsprings, The Glen
  • Santo Domingo – Arroyo, Rancho Coranado
  • Pacifica – Coastview, West Wind Estate

Each district varies greatly in appearance and atmosphere, reflecting its socioeconomic status—some areas are thriving while others are run-down, with the people, stores, and architecture all telling a story.

To fast travel, look for small kiosks featuring a large green holographic map, which will also be marked as blue icons on your overall map. As you explore Night City, you will discover these travel points scattered throughout. You don’t need to interact with them to unlock them; they’ll automatically become available just by visiting the locations. With these points, moving around the areas you’ve previously explored becomes quick and effortless.
