Genshin Impact Events Overview

In Genshin Impact, events are special time-limited activities that allow players to participate and earn a variety of rewards, such as ascension materials and Primogems. Typically, each update includes one major event along with a few smaller ones.

One such event is called Adventurer’s Trials: Metamorphosis, which launched with version 5.2. If you’re looking to finish this event quickly and claim all its rewards, here’s a straightforward guide to help you tackle the necessary tasks.

Event Structure

Adventurer’s Trials: Metamorphosis consists of four main sections, referred to as Trials. Each Trial is divided into three Challenges, and completing all of them will earn you various rewards, including Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ores, Adventurer’s Experience, and Sanctifying Unction.

You can choose to participate solo or team up with players from around the world. Most of the Challenges are relatively easy and can be completed without any trouble, regardless of the option you choose. Note that there are no bonus rewards for completing them alone versus with a team. However, teaming up can speed up the challenges, and you’ll be provided with a Trial character for each Challenge, so you won’t need to own specific units.

Challenges Breakdown

Trial 1: Alternate Traversal Methods

For this challenge, you will use Kinich as your Trial character. At the start, a massive wall will approach you with glowing weak points. Shoot at these weak points using Kinich’s elemental skill to break sections of the wall, allowing you to zip through the openings. Collect coins that appear once you pass through. After a short period, the wall will return with new weak points to repeat the process until you’ve collected enough coins.

Trial 2: A World-Class Banger to Seal the Deal

Here, Wriothesley is your Trial character. Small Anemo slimes will appear around the arena, and you’ll need to use Wriothesley’s charged punches to push them into designated goal areas. Collect yellow orbs scattered throughout the arena to restore stamina, enabling you to continue using charged attacks. The challenge ends when you reach the required score.

Trial 3: Bouncy Bouncy Forced March

You’ll play as Kachina in this challenge. Activate her E ability and hop on a spinning top to deal elemental damage to enemies. A vortex may appear beneath the top, gathering enemies towards it, making it easier to defeat them. Continue defeating enemies until you secure enough points.

Trial 4: Wardbreaker

In this challenge with Kaedehara Kazuha, Abyss mages and elemental wards will spawn. To defeat these enemies, use Kazuha’s elemental skill to trigger reactions by combining the mage shields and the wards. You need to break the shields and take down enough mages to complete the challenge.

Additional Challenges

As you progress through the event, you’ll encounter several more hurdles each requiring specific tactics and characters. The Trials not only test your skill but also provide opportunities to strategize and adapt based on the character abilities at your disposal.

Rewards

After completing all four Trials, you can collect the following rewards:

420 Primogems
280,000 Mora
16 Hero’s Wit
16 Adventurer’s Experience
16 Sanctifying Unction
16 Mystic Enhancement Ore

Each Trial rewards you individually, unlocking more as you successfully complete them.
